Nike Considered Design, Trash Talk, the N7 Collection, Lace Up Save Lives. Nike does a bunch of ‘good’ stuff beyond just making the sickest sneakers. The Swoosh is probably the most visibly socially conscious footwear brand, and just like so many other great campaigns, they counted on Portland’s Wieden+Kennedy to create the visual. Nike Better World offers a stunningly clean scroll-thru detailing Nike’s whitehat efforts, stuff like the recycled polyester, water-based cementing and environmentally preferred rubber in use on the new Nike Free TR Fit. Corporate citizenship takes on an increasingly important role in the globalized economy so it’s good to see the world’s athletic gear leader is taking steps in the right direction.
