In Beijing, Santa arrived with a little something extra for the Nike LeBron V.2 ‘Christmas’. While the U.S. release of the Christmas-inspired LeBron 8 V.2 shoe came in a regular slide-out box, the happy (and go-lucky) customers in Beijing received a special black wooden box with a special Christmas-themed etching on the outer facad with the shoes stored in a black suede bag with a golden LeBron Lion logo. Also included was a special booklet called ‘Christmas Day Battle in Beijing 2010′, alluding to Miami’s bout with the Los Angeles Lakers on Christmas Day. These special wooden boxes are usually reserved for special edition releases – and it seems like the Christmas V.2 just made that cut. Take a look at this unique packaging set-up after the jump and let us know what you think. via LRJ23.

its the shoe that matters…china gets these releases b/c there is more people and their economy is better so they can pay for senseless shit like this. They also ride nikes joystick like a fcking COD addict so they KNOW for a fact the shoes will sell well. They all look the same wear the same things…thats where the term hypebeast was originated; lol, naw thats kind of racist but you catch my drift.

January 6th, 2011 at 4:42 pm
You clearly don't comprehend the amount of coin Nike earns from China. You think Americans can afford a $160 shoe? Hell no.
January 6th, 2011 at 4:45 pm

You're wack…
January 7th, 2011 at 5:19 pm
No its that people in America don't want to spend $160 on sneakers, not that they can't afford it.
