We’re slowly approaching the release date for the Air Jordan III White/Cement Grey, and some retailers on our side of the pond have begun to receive their shipments. In addition to the OG-inspired box packaging, the Air Jordan III of 2011 will come with a Air Jordan hangtag for even more of a throwback vibe. Not that the White/Cement Grey III needs to be vamped up in any way, but it’s still a nice touch for a Jordan Retro release. Some of our readers have expressed an indifference towards the packaging while others have showed excitement, but the bottom line is that these are a must-have for 2011 and will fly off the shelves. BXSports will have these for you on release date (which is January 22nd) so take another look at this hot release after the jump and try to snag a pair early on eBay.

toe box looks terrible. The elephant print looks different from the back to the front. Simply cheap looking. Box looks better made then the shoes.

how the hell are these shoes overhyped? These shoes have a history behind them. MJ made history in these shoes. In this colorway. Even if they are overhyped, there is a good reason to why they are.

is it just me or do these just look like an ordinary pair of sneakers. back in the day i always loved them, but now i dont see anything special. true blue and black/cement are great looking sneakers imo.

these wont crack, because with the new 3's and spizikes they used a special paint, but i know where you're comin from cause i have the flip 3 from '06 and there chipping and my nelly spizikes, but i have the anniversary 3 and there holding up perfect

Just about every place I know will be getting them. Let me give you some help. When any jordans or any other sneakers are coming out about a month or 3wks ahead of time go to the stores and ask. Most of the time if they are going to sell them they even have a pair behind the counter they can show you. That way you know for sure which spots will have them and it gives you sometime to think which places you will want to go and will give you the best chance to buy. I go to finishline and usually they even let me know how many pairs they got in my size
