In conjunction with Intel, adidas has launched the adidas adiVerse Virtual Footwear Wall, a completely interactive virtual program that catalogs more than eight-thousand of adidas’ footwear retail products. To begin the adiVerse experience, a consumer can simply walk near the adiVerse Wall, and the program will determine your sex. From there, what you want to explore is up to you; adiVerse allows you to see all of adidas’ footwear, with 360-degree touch-screen viewing as well as product information and marketing content available for viewing. The multi-panel set-up is certainly a one-of-a-kind endeavor in the footwear market, and adidas aims to launch adiVerse sometime next year in England to align with the 2012 Olympic Games.
