Although not exactly the original, this upcoming colorway of the Nike Air Trainer SC II should have Trainer fans excited and amped up with anticipation. Scheduled to drop in the first half of 2011, the Nike Air Trainer SC II in white, black, grey, and hot red/infrared features a similar combination of colors as the OG release in 1989; the primary difference between the two is that the Retro version utilized a black upper trim opposed to the original light-grey. Regardless of the discrepancy, this release should be one of the best Retro drops of the year, so take another look after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more updates. via TSG.

i have a funny feeling nike will relese the light grey ones that look closer to orginal, these are gonna be like the varsity red jordan 6's and then they relesed the infrareds, they are gonna do it like that with these so we buy this cause we think its the closest we will get, then BAM og color and then we HAVE to buy those too, you watch do jump the gun ppl, if youy wait you will be rewarded with the og!!!! these look pretty good tho!!

Lil' Kiddy? How do you figure I'm a child? I have 2 children of my own, a nice house and a vehicle. What kiddies do you know of that those things?…..oh yeah thanks for the information dumb ass
January 17th, 2011 at 1:58 pm
yeah, they thinkin' they're being creative, but the color change takes away from what made the shoe so classic in the first place.
January 17th, 2011 at 3:26 pm
Wow, you're a clever one. Like a dog shit sundae.

These are actually “total orange” as per the catalog scan. How you even get to infrared, is a stretch. Black toebox makes this model look ugly. Pass worthy x 10000 and I love trainers.
