Air Jordan 2011 ‘Year of the Rabbit’ – Packaging Preview

2011 marks the Year of the Rabbit in the Chinese Zodiac, and among the number of special releases that have dropped so far, the one that might garner to most attention is that of the Air Jordan 2011. The twenty-sixth Air Jordan shoe is set to release in a special colorway, and here we have a preview of the packaging of this commemorative release. The predominately red box features a regal gold Chinese-style graphic with additional Chinese characters surrounding the box. The package construction features a flip-up lid, which could reveal additional packaging inside. Check out the additional preview shots below and stick with Sneaker News for more updates on the Air Jordan 2011 and the special ‘Year of the Rabbit’ colorway. via hoopchina.

  10. @SmokeKobain Says:

the 2011's starting to grow on me….with a new colorway, I'm curious to know how's they look?

  11. Cali kush Says:

The box is better than the shoes. Jordan should have stopped at 23.

  12. 23shoefinder Says:

Not really, they just have to be marketed to differently than US buyers

  13. BLACKOUT313 Says:

The design packaging is sick and hope the colorway for the AJ 2011 will be sick as well! TBC…..

  18. steven T Says:

i dont want the shoes I JUST want the box

  19. frank Says:

Technically speaking. JB did stop at 23.

This is the AJ 2011, not the AJ 26. Step your game up fool.

  20. frank Says:

The new Jordans are stressed for a performance base for the game of basketball. Their primary function is not for "wurrrrring on da streetz".

This is where you say "oh yeah! I didn't know that because I was born in 95 and I didn't actually see MJ play…I just wear Jordan's cause it is popular."?

PS- IDK I'm starting to like the 2011's more and more. Idk if it'll be like the 23's but still. It's sorta growing.

  21. Jerronimo Says:

    Nice box…
