The yearly Air Force 1 tradition of a special colorway commemorating the ‘animal of the year’ of the Chinese Zodiac continued in 2011 with the Rabbit being the focus. Inspired by the White Rabbit Creamy Candy, this special edition Air Force 1 ‘Year of the Rabbit’ was released with a special packaging mimicking an over-sized candy wrapper. Inside the ‘wrapper’ was the Air Force 1, which features a mix of butter suede, smooth leather, chenille material on the swoosh and tongue tab, and a milky-white midsole/outsole combination – visually similar to the White Rabbit candy. This special release was held at JUICE Shanghai and NPC Shanghai, with a wider release going down this Friday – but without the special packaging. Check out this quick release recap below and if you’re in need of this sweet pair of AF1s, snag a pair on eBay.

The most valuable thing is the package…coz it inspire the most popular candy "the White Rabbit" in China…

Damn, thought $400 was laughable, peeps trying to sell up to $1000 and $1888? Good luck, smh. Must be limited numbers coz they are ugly colors for sure. Id buy em for like $80-90 retail… if there was nothing else better to get.
