Yesterday night Sneaker News gave you first-hand coverage of the Nike Zoom Kobe VI event that was held at the Nike Vault @ the Staples Center. With Kobe Bryant and director Rich Rodriguez serving as the guests of the night, Nike rolled out the red carpet for some of Kobe’s sweetest Kobe VI colorways as well as the latest trailer for the Rodriguez-directed ‘Black Mamba’ movie, which stars Kobe Bryant, Bruce Willis, Danny Trejo, and Kanye West. Kobe Bryant is out for blood, and no other colorways grabs that blood-thirsty vibe than the Black/White-Varsity Red colorway, which featurse a black/metallic grey snake-skin upper and a carnivorous red on the midsole. Check out these new detailed images via Dunk and let us know what you think about this upcoming February 5th release.

IN THE CLOSE UP ON THE CHECK. IT LOOKS LIKE NIKE IS GOING FOR THE SPRAY ON OVER A DYE-CUT LOOK WITH THE CHECK. WHICH IMO MAKES THE SHOE LOOK CHEAP. CANT TELL AS MUCH WHEN YOU SEE IT FROM AFAR. IVE SEEN NIKE USE SOMETHING LIKE THIS ON OTHER SHOES AS OF LATE AND THOUGH I DIDNT LIKE IT. IT DIDNT LOOK AS BAD.

does reducing material to be the most light weight bball shoe constitute cheap? i suppose you're a hypebeast who'd rather have nike sacrifice court feel and sew on a crappy suede nike check to "look hot."
