Jordan Brand March 2011 Footwear Releases

Ok so now that we know what’s expected of Jordan Brand next month, let’s take the next logical leap and check out JB’s March 2011 footwear drop.  First up is our very first look at the Jordan BCT Low, a model so new that if you search for it in quotes on Google, there are literally ZERO results!  So this here is a world premiere, and from the looks of the design, we’re seeing something similar to the Nike Trainer 1.2 Hyperfuse.  Featuring a similar forefoot strap but geared toward the game itself instead of training is the Evolution ’85, one of the few Team Jordan models we’ve seen on Dwyane Wade.  Four new colorways of that model suggest it’ll be the star that month, but don’t forget about the Wolf Grey Flight TR ’97s or the new CP3.IV colorway that’s a yellow circle away from an Air Jordan XIII ‘Playoffs’ theme.  Click through to see the whole set and let us know how March stacks up against February’s releases.

Jordan Brand February 2011 Footwear Release Update

So now that we know the first four Air Jordan 2011 colorways are slated for a February 19th release, let’s take a closer look at the rest of Jordan Brand’s footwear lineup for next month.  First up are two colorways of a new but familiar model, the Jordan Hardcourt Classic 1 whose design is a direct takeoff on 1997′s Air Jordan Team One.  The next is at least familiar by name, the fourth Jordan Ol’ School model in a lowcut silhouette that’s about the same height as the entirely different Classic ’82.  That model shares a vaguely AJII-style outsole with both the H Series mid and After Game lowtops, and after that comes the new PTP’er, whose tooling is nearly identical to the aforementioned Ol School 4s.  Rounding out the collection are a duo of Sky Highs and black/white/tonal grey editions of the Take Flight and Flight 23.  Click through to see the entire collection and let us know which ones you’ll be coppin’.

Air Jordan CMFT Max Air 12 ‘Cool Grey’

You might have had your fill with the ‘Cool Grey’ bonanza, but here’s an upcoming Jordan release that’s worthy the energy; the Jordan CMFT Max Air 12 will release in February with a ‘Cool Grey’ motif, utilizing a combination of tonal-grey perforated nubuck and nylon on the upper with a white midsole and the translucent outsole (something that was missing the Jordan CMFT Viz Air 11 ‘Cool Grey’). Slated to drop in the first weekend of February with a $140 price-tag, the ‘Cool Grey’ Max Air 12 perfectly emulates the Cool Grey XI motif while maintaining its own identity with the different materials. Check out the extra detailed shots below and stick with Sneaker News for more Jordan Brand information for the Spring 2011 season.

adidas Originals Decade Hi B Ball Pack

Earlier this month, Sneaker News showed you the first new adidas Originals Decade releases we’d profiled in a long time, and from the looks of this latest drop, Three Stripes seems to be resurrecting this classic basketball model.  And what better way to color a quintessentially-’80s design than with high contrast NBA team colorways.  The Decade Hi B-Balls will soon be available in Knicks and Magic palettes, plus one that’s likely a Bulls nod but features even more grey than Air Jordans III and IV.  Perforations on the ankles hearken back to old school mesh jerseys and you can get a better look at all three pairs when you click the jump below.  via CT

Anatomy of Converse Addict Chuck Taylor All Star

Just waht exactly makes up a $100+ Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star? The classic basketball shoe-turned-wardrobe staple has enjoyed wide success due to its low price-tag, so you might be wondering why such a low-maintenance, low-tech shoe could cost over one hundred dollars. Here’s a look at the Converse Addict Chuck Taylor All-Star; a cross-section of the bottom sole reveals a Poron cushion insert, a Vibram outsole for increased traction and decreased wear, and a 60′s-style Chuck Taylor design. We’ve got some more interesting views below so take a look and let us know what you think of this revamped classic. via HB.

adidas Originals Stan Smith Lite Zip

A number of adidas Originals designs have been altered to include zippers for special releases over the past few years, most notably the Transform Pack of low/high hybrids from last spring.  The adidas Originals Stan Smith was one of those zip-off-top drops but the model pictured above offers a different take.  Strictly a lowtop, the Stan Smith Lite Zip can either be laced the normal way or you could keep em tied and simply use the side panel zipper as a port of entry.  No matter how you get em on, the black leather looks quite nice, especially with a bright red sockliner.  Click through to see more and grab a pair today from Schuh-You.

Nike Hyperfuse Low 2011 All Star Pack Available on eBay

Playing off on Pontiac’s failed brand slogan of ‘Wider is Better’, the Nike Basketball circles have been pushing ‘Lighter is Better’. Shoes like the Zoom Kobe VI and Hyperfuse feel like pebbles compared to kicks from a decade ago, and even the LeBron 8 V/2 feels like feathers compared to previous notoriously heavy LeBron designs. You can imagine that the Nike Hyperfuse Low will be even lighter than the Hyperfuse, and for the 2011 NBA All-Star Game in Los Angeles, Nike is banking on the Hyperfuse Low to carry a lot of Nike Basketball’s weight as the NBA Season hits the second half (or more accurately, the post-ASG portion of the season). Sneaker News showed you those six All-Star inspired Hyperfuse Low colorways this past weekend, and now’s your chance to own any one (or two, or four) of those pairs because they just hit select Nike Basketball retailers. Check out these detailed shots of the Nike Hyperfuse Low 2011 NBA All-Star Pack below and grab them now from id4shoes on eBay.
