Nike Zoom Kobe Venomenon – Black – Volt – Green Apple

Kobe Bryant’s “Venomenal” career has led him to five NBA Championships, an MVP award, and a heap of other individual achievements. Kobe’s only 32 years old but he’s been in the league for quite a while, and some may contend that Kobe has another decade of NBA play left in him. Who knows what’s in store for Kobe at age 36? or 42? A Nike Zoom Kobe XVI might be getting ahead of ourselves just a bit, so let’s take a look at what’s out now – the Nike Zoom Kobe Venomenon. The Venomenon is another take-down version of the Kobe signature model, featuring a similar construction but fewer materials and design emphasis than the Zoom Kobe VI. The Venomenon does feature a snake-skin-like graphic on the upper with additional venomous hints on the heel with a Zoom Air cushioning and XDR outsole – so don’t expect anything less in performance. This new colorway of Black/Volt-Green Apple exudes the slithery attitude like Mortal Kombat’s ‘Reptile’ (but Kobe won’t spit in your face). Check out these new pics below and let us know what you think of this new colorway. via taobaowu.

Nike Air Force 1 Year of the Rabbit 21 Mercer Release Info

After an intial release in China (detailed by our Release Recap), the Nike Air Force 1 ‘Year of the Rabbit’ will release this Saturday, January 29th, at the Nike Sportswear shop at 21 Mercer in SoHo, NY. 2011 marks the Year of the Rabbit, which places the official Chinese New Year on February 3rd, 2011; for some time now, Chinese-centric populations and other ‘Chinatown’ neighborhoods in bustling cities have decked their streets and shops with New Year fare, and what better way than to rock this sweet pair of Air Force 1s on the holiday? Sweet, they certainly are; the Year of the Rabbit Air Force 1 was inspired by the popular White Rabbit candy, with special candy-like wrapping released with the shoes at select locations. It is not likely that the 21 Mercer release will come with the special packaging, but rather a Nike Sportswear or Air Force 1 Premium box, but be advised that this Saturday the 29th is the date to circle if you’re in the NYC area. Take a look at these new images below and if you’re not near the area, pick up a pair now on eBay.

Nike 6.0 Dunk Low Brogue

In 2010, Sneaker News placed a particular emphasis on the up-and-coming 6.0 Branch of Nike footwear. With its great releases of the Dunk, Melee, and the all-new Brazen, Nike 6.0 has surpassed its original purpose of providing action-sports athletic outfitting drew some welcome attention from the hard-to-please sneakerhead circles. If you’re still lagging behind on the 6.0 tip, here’s something to get you going – the Nike 6.0 Dunk Low ‘Brogue’. The colorway is similar to the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Patagonia’ of 2009 with a unique toe-box design that should remind you of the SB Dunk Low ‘Golf’ series of 2006. It features a royal blue leather/suede upper with a white swoosh and outsole and an orange inner lining. Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘LA’ All Star Pack – New Images

Los Angeles is what’s happening, especially when it comes to new Nike Zoom Kobe VI colorways.  The Orange County joints are simply beautiful and the Glass Blue pair is sick in its own right, but we can’t forget about this Dodger-flavored ZK6 with its view of the LA sky.  And it’s particularly interesting that these are the Zoom Kobe 6 ‘All Star’, considering that the Western Conference has worn red (East wears blue) since the NBA switched back from a late-’90s MLB-style look.  Frankly, whether Kobe wears em at the ASG doesn’t matter cos these are one of the more satisfying colorways we’ve seen and you can get more shots after the jump and grab a pair early from Kicks-Crew.

atmos x Reebok Insta Pump Fury ’10th Anniversary’

Sure, you could always just buy a pair of white Keds and go to town, but as far as sanctioned releases go, we haven’t seen many color-your-own-with-markers drops since the adidas adiColor releases a few years back.  That changes with this new atmos x Reebok Insta Pump Fury that celebrates ten years in biz for Tokyo’s finest.  As you might expect from the lead-in, these joints are all white save select branding accents, and ship with a black marker you can use to customize the leather uppers.  But you better not make a mistake, cos not only are they only available at atmos starting this Saturday, but there are a mere 100 pairs set to release.

Nike WMNS Court Force High – Valentine’s Day 2011

The Valentine’s Day holiday gives Nike plenty of ideas for love-inspired colorways of several Nike models like the Air Force 1 and Dunk High. Here’s a look at another member of the Nike Sportswear Valentine’s Day 2011 capsule; although this pair of Court Force Highs doesn’t feature the ‘Amor’ theme seen in other V-Day 2011 releases, a sweet Nike heart logo on the tongue and a polka-dot perforated upper is used for the cute and bubbly appeal. Both the aqua and red colorways use a stylish pinstriped ankle collar with glossy patent leather on the outriggers. These Valentine’s Day drops should hit Nike Sportswear accounts soon so take a look below and let us know which Valentine’s Day Nikes you like best. via Colmilludo.

Air Jordan VII Bordeaux 2011 Retro | Available on eBay

Michael Jordan introduced the Air Jordan VII to the world on February 9th, 1992; it was the NBA All-Star Game of the 1991-92 NBA Season, and Jordan was making his eight appearance in an All-Star Game. Despite leading the East squad in scoring and tying in assists, Jordan, the Game, and the Shoes were overshadowed by the return of Magic Johnson, who made his first All-Star Game appearance since being diagnosed with HIV. Of course, Johnson deserved the spotlight for his courageous comeback and eventual All-Star Game MVP, but the attention turned back to Michael not long after when he led the Bulls to its second straight NBA title. Nearly two decades after it first made an appearance, the Air Jordan VII Bordeaux will return to store shelves (this April to be exact). Undoubtedly one of most highly-anticipated Retro releases of the last half-decade, the Bordeaux will sell out “fo sheaux”. Check out these new pics of the 2011 Retro version below and if you need them right now, pick up one of the select sizes available from air-randy on eBay.

Nike Air Max TR1+ – Metallic Silver – Black – Volt

Sneakerheads were lucky enough to be able to purchase a ’112′ version of the Air Max 1, Air Force 1, Air Trainer 1, and Hyperdunk, but we know all too well that DJ Clark Kent, the man behind the sick colorway/material combo, has a lot more ’112′ed versions of shoes like the Trainer SC 2010 and more recently, the Air Max TR1+. Although that Air Max TR1+ has no plans of releasing, you can purchase your own ‘take-down’ version of Clark’s Air Max TR1+ ’112′; here’s a look at an all-new colorway of the TR1+ in Metallic Silver, Black, and Volt. The obvious omission is the elephant print, but the colorway motif is still there (adopted from the historic Air Max 95 ‘Neon’ colorway. Check out the extra shots below and cop a pair now at Nikestore.
