Nike SB Dunk Pro Exhibit @ Bright Tradeshow

In addition to featuring the Fall 2011 Footwear & Apparel line-up at the Bright Tradeshow, Nike SB took the opportunity to bring its Nike SB Dunk Pro Book to life by creating a mini-exhibit in a museum-style set-up with actual Nike SB artifacts to go along with the summary of the book. The Nike SB Dunk has had a long and particularly storied history, with each SB Dunk release carrying its own fun and convoluted story. Take for example the eBay Charity Dunk that was sawed into four pieces, or the scrapped Freddy Kruegers that still somehow made it out to the public. The focus also goes on the Nike SB team riders from past and present, like Danny Supa, Gino Iannucci, Dan Shimizu, and Eric Koston. DunkBar has provided a nice first-hand look at the great set-up so take a look at the extended gallery below and let us know which Nike SB Dunk is your favorite of all time. If you’re still trying to get the Nike SB Dunk Pro Book, you can grab a copy on eBay.

DJ Clark Kent x Nike Air Max TR1+ 360 112

Anything and everything in DJ Clark Kent’s 112 motif has been nothing but peaches and cream. Sneaker News recently showed you his special Nike Trainer SC 2010 so this follow-up, although not surprising, will leave you with your jaw hanging down from your mouth. Here’s a look at a sweet pair of the Nike Air Max Trainer 1+ 360 fashioned in the special Black, Volt, Elephant print, and 3M-reflective; although partially shrouded by a fitted cap, you get the idea, don’t yet? 3M-reflective on the toed, black upper with contrast Volt Flywire, Elephant print on the heel, and a Volt Max Air bag complete the 112 look, so check out another angle below and let us know what you think. via BunBTrillOG.

Nike Air Foamposite Pro – Retro – Black + Dark Pine | Fall 2011

Later this year we’ll see two of the cooler new Foamposite colorways in recent memory.  The Nike Air Foamposite Pro keeps its recent trend of Foam One-style translucent soles for these new Dark Pine and Retro teal editions, both of which of course have black Swooshes on their side panels.  The former is particularly interesting, because in the initial photos of the Retros, Dark Pines and that crazy LWP/Foam hybrid everybody’s buzzing about — in the initial photos the sample appeared to have been a Foamposite One, or at least didn’t have the Pro’s signature Swoosh.  Now that we’re all on the same page, click the jump below to go to another one where we have more shots of these upcoming Foamposite Pro colorways and stick with Sneaker News for the exact release dates.  via SFSC

adidas adiRose 1.5 – Black – Red – New Images

Derrick Rose has firmly established himself as among the NBA’s elite point guards but this season in particular he’s slashing his way to the top of the league and is garnering some serious MVP contention.  That’s what happens when you can lead a depleted squad to a division lead, and it sure doesn’t hurt that his adidas Basketball signature is also significantly improved over the last model.  The adidas adiRose 1.5 is crafted in the same Sprint Skin material that gives Dwight Howard’s Superbeast lightweight and breathable support, and it looks particularly good here with red peeking through the black outer layer.  Click through to get a better look at these new pics from Kenlu and pick yourself up a pair now on eBay.

Nike WMNS Air Max 95 Valentines Day 2011

The latest valentine from Nike Sportswear to all the lady sneakerheads out there is this new Nike WMNS Air Max 95.  The colorblocking these is satisfying if a bit predictable, with tonal reds sandwiched between white sections plus select pink hits.  The top white tier is made of patent leather that gives the underlying nubuck parts an extra kick, but we couldn’t help but wonder if a white outsole might have been better for the theme.  Then again, this is one seasonal look you’ll be able to rock pretty much year round and you can grab the Valentines Air Max 95 from RPS.

Jordan CMFT Max Air 12 LTR White French Blue | Available Early

The latest release from Jordan Brand is a melange of aesthetics originally offered between Februarys 1997 and 1998.  We could start in the second month of ’97, where an Obsidian, French Blue and white Air Jordan XII could have been Michael Jordan’s NBA All Star Game shoe had the league not been trying the MLB-style ASG look.  Then in July of that year the immortal Silver Bullet colorway kicked off the Air Max 97 in grand fashion, and combined these classics come together as the Jordan CMFT Max Air 12.  But JB didn’t stop there, also pulling in the next major Air Jordan release that featured French Blue, the AJ13 ‘Flints’ and their signature ballistic nylon.  Quite a nice period piece, the French Blue CMFT 12s are now available at JB retailers like PickYourShoes.

NBA Feet: Gilbert Arenas Nike Air Penny II

In late December, Gilbert Arenas wore the Nike Air Max Penny 1, Penny Hardaway’s first signature shoe with Nike. Yesterday night, Gilbert continued his 2010-11 sneaker romp with the Nike Air Penny II in the White/Varsity Royal-Black colorway. If Gilbert has plans to roll out his Nike Pennys in chronological order, we should expect the next Air Penny shoe to be the Nike Air Foamposite One in the Royal Blue colorway. The Foamposite One wasn’t officially part of the Nike Air Penny line, but it’s still the shoe that is most attributed to Hardaway; it was released between the Nike Air Penny II and III and completely revolutionized basketball sneaker construction and design. Check out Gilbert’s kicks below and stay tuned to Sneaker News for a full NBA Feet Recap from last night. via ESPN.

adidas Daily Double ‘Superman’

Thanks to unforgettable performances in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest and a reputation as one of the most playful guys in the league, Dwight Howard is sure to be near the top of any grade school favorite ballers list.  And since your lil ones aren’t putting a fraction as much pressure on their kicks as the humongous Howard, they can still get in on D-12′s signature shoe look with the adidas Daily Double.  The name of this model is a takeoff on Dwight’s double-double averages, and there’s little question why they’re dubbed ‘Superman’ edition.  Click through to get a better look at the TS Beast‘s tiny takedown and grab a pair today from Finish Line.

Gourmet Spring 2011 Footwear Collection

Gourmet is back in your face with a spring 2011 lineup that may be the Italian-inspired brand’s finest yet.  They’ve got the entire spectrum covered here, ranging from the simple understated looks that have become the default of late, all the way to a wild Gourmet il Due that could pass for a super high-end handbag when zipped.  There’s a vivid yellow new Cinque lowtop and new colorways for the 26 and 28, the former of which almost feels like an updated Ice Cream Board Flip.  Click through to see more shots of the whole set and look for these at select Gourmet retailers nationwide.  via SxH
