‘The LeBrons‘ are one big happy family, made up of four family members representing all of LeBron James’ clashing personas that still get along quite well. You’ve got LeBron the Athlete, Kid LeBron, Business LeBron, and Wise – four major personality traits that LeBron himself says makes him the man that he is. You might remember the Zoom LeBron III and The LeBrons from a few years back, but it looks like the happy family will make its return because according to the New York Times, an online animated series is in the works, with a full cast of characters and fun storylines in the works. Could we expect Seth McFarlane to join in on the fun and direct an ‘edgy’ episode, or will Stewie make an appearance? Continue reading for a video of LeBron James introducing the characters and

If you caught the Sneaker News Exclusive Interview with LeBron 8 V1/V2 designer Jason Petrie, you’d know that LeBron James plays an integral role in the development of his own shoe. Speaking on colorways, LeBron has a big say on what makes it out there and what doesn’t, and for the LeBron 8 V2, we’ll get the opportunity to own a pair of shoes inspired by his favorite TV show Entourage. The photo blue, tour yellow, and black colorway matches the popular Entourage poster that features the crew of five and the Entourage show logo. LeBron and Kobe are certainly in a heavyweight bout this year with all these great colorways set to release, but it looks like LeBron’s got a haymaker in this one. The Entourage LeBron 8 V2 is set to release this March so continue reading for more detailed images and stick with Sneaker News for all your Nike LeBron 8 V2 info. via MarqueeSole.

How does a Black Mamba snake mark its territory? Sneaker News gave you a heads up on an ‘LA’ Pack, which includes a number of special Zoom Kobe VI colorways that feature special graphics that pertain to a particular landscape of the Californian city. The ‘Glass Blue’ colorway has ties to Orange County, and the 3-D pair and Hollywood go hand-in-hand. Here’s a new colorway, featuring a Sunset graphic on the upper with a special insole featuring a sandy beach and a lone starfish and a translucent turquoise blue outsole; one favorite pastime of West Coast residents is to lay on the beach while viewing a gorgeous sunset, so this particular pair is likely attached to one of the famous beaches on the Pacific coast. Malibu? Santa Monica? Venice? Take a look after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more updates on this sunny new Kobe VI colorway. via MarqueeSole.

“Cory Kennedy lives such a good life. Best sponsors, Cali, nice apartment, can do anything he wants on a board . . . “
YouTube comments are typically worth far less than the screen space they’re temporarily displayed on, but there’s a reason this one has more thumbs up than any other on Nike SB pro Cory Kennedy’s recent ‘Slice of Life’ video. The Crailtap-shot spot shows CK cleaning up around the house, playing a bit of NBA2K11, skating thru traffic while picking up and carrying a shovel and broom, stopping off to gnosh on the half-sandwich-half-salad combo, shoveling off a spot of oceanfront pavement . . . and then the skating starts. There’s probably not much that could top that, but how about the new Cory Kennedy x Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Low. This Q3 release is the first Janoski collabo colorway and one that plays a prominent role in the video. Just yesterday we saw a trio of new Dunk Low CLs from Nike Sportswear’s ‘Be True To Your Street’ initiative and now here’s three more in the hightop format. This trio of Nike Dunk High Premiums feature the same construction, including a suede underlay with tonal tumbled leather overlay, the toe of which is secured with a contrasting stitch. All three extend the tonal look to their midsole, which gives way to a gum bottom in either red, navy or white. This might be one of those insta-cop-the-whole-set deals, but if you wanna get a better look first, click the jump below to see more photos. via EspionageKicks

A couple weeks back we got off to a good start in 2011 by previewing Nike SB’s fall footwear collection, of which the recently redesigned Dunk Pro SB played a major role. We saw four new SB Dunks and with the green Highs they were paired with in those shots having a closer look it’s time to jump into the burgundy Nike SB Dunk Low set for Q3. They appeared to be a pretty obvious suede in those shots but this new look suggests a subtle contrast in tones and possibly materials on the underlay/overlay. Would you prefer an all-suede design or something a little different like the synthetics on that green pair? Kobe Bryant certainly is a star on and off the court. Not only will he be starting in the upcoming 2011 NBA All-Star Game in Los Angeles, The Black Mamba will also play himself in a mini-movie directed by Robert Rodriguez. Using the Kobe VI as his weapon of choice, Kobe Bryant slices and dices his way through the competition, and he certainly will do his best to get that MVP honor during the All-Star Game while wearing the All-Star colorway of his sixth sig shoe with Nike. With a Red/Black colorway and a special All-Star graphic on the tongue and insole, the Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘All-Star’ will be one of the sneakers to watch during the mid-February Classic. Check out these new detailed images after the jump and let us know what you think of the All-Star colorway. via in52.

Here is one of the clearest cases ever where a production model turns out to be vastly superior to the samples. And it’s not every day that you hear a gum-soled shoe brushed aside so easily — gum rubber is one of the foundational looks and we were very glad to see it play a prominent role in the post-recession fashion shakeup. But will anyone argue that the switch to reflective 3M to match the mudguard on the ‘Cool Grey’ Jordan CMFT Vis Air 11 wasn’t for the best? This shoe leaps from being part of the CG holiday hangover to something like a starter’s pistol to your wild-running imagination. Can you picture the Air Jordan XI with a 3M mudguard? What about pretty much any sneaker ever with a reflective bottom?! Rarely has a hybrid model offered so much innovation; are they now the best the CMFT mashup series has seen? The Nike Air Max 90 seems to get more patent leather in its new colorways than any other Nike retro runner, but here’s a rare case where the glossy material takes a backseat to something even more eyecatching. These womens Ninetys have a one-of-a-kind mudguard that offers metallic stripes running horizontally along its silver length. It gives these otherwise white and Varsity Red kicks a very distinct look to punctuate your springtime outfits. Check out more shots by clicking on the jump below and grab yours today from a Nike Sportswear retailer like Caliroots.

Brian Anderson kicked off the Nike SB Blazer CS with his Icon x Icon edition last summer done in a familiar nautical theme. The redesigned cup sole breathed new life into the previously dead SB Blazer Low, but isn’t it a bit early to be revisiting that colorway already? This SB Blazer Low CS comes in the same navy blue suede and gold look as Anderson’s mids, but instead of the puffy embroidered look, these go for a more standard sewn-on suede Swoosh. Which style do you prefer? Click through to get a better look and stick with Sneaker News for updates on their release; Korean e-tailer Kasina just got theirs.

With Yao Ming’s career in jeopardy, Washington Wizards forward Yi Jianlian is the biggest Chinese player left in the NBA both literally and figuratively. ‘The Scorpion’ has been with Nike Basketball since joining the league three years ago and his latest player exclusive is this Nike Hyperdunk 2010. A home PE designed for Wizards games at Verizon Center (appropriately enough, right in the heart of Chinatown) features royal blue and gold accents on a white base.
