Nike ACG Lunar MacLeay+ – Black – Moss Green

One of the best new All Conditions Gear shoes in years, the Nike ACG Lunar MacLeay managed to split the Sneaker News Top 30 of 2010, coming in at the number fifteen spot.  The latest edition further proves how well suited for lifestyle purposes the MacLeay can be, this black leather pair offering perhaps the most unassuming outdoor performance we’ve seen from ACG. Moss Green accents ensure you can pair these with any number of color combinations and they’re available a bit earlier than the NSW/ACG spots that’ll have em soon, only at mita-sneakers.

Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘China’

It’s time to clear the air a bit; here a first look at the ‘China’. Yes, you’ve seen this colorway before, but it has been confirmed that this upcoming release is in fact the ‘China’ colorway and not the Joker-inspired ‘Chaos’. While the silver, purple, white, and red and does match the Joker’s attire to some degree, the colorway is actually inspired by traditional Chinese pottery and artistic motifs. A special lace dubrae depicting a Reishi mushroom and two Black Mamba snakeheads will be a part of this China-inspired release as well. So, remember the second Chaos colorway we showed you? That’s now the first (and at this point, the one and only), so adjust accordingly! These will drop in China on February the 2nd, but a U.S. release date hasn’t been confirmed, so stick with Sneaker News and we’ll keep you in the know. via jingdaily.

Star Wars x adidas Originals El Dorado ‘Storm Trooper’ – Available

The Jeremy Scott and Star Wars collections have been two of adidas Originals biggest collaborations of the past couple years, and here’s one that treads the line between these two wild styles.  The Star Wars x adidas Originals El Dorado is modeled after an AT-AT driver, its signature feature the tongue, where a velcro tongue tag allows you to attach or remove his helmet.  There are tons of other little embellishments and a leather sockliner adds a premium touch, but are these the best of the spring 2011 Star Wars bunch?  Click through to get a better look and grab yours today from Caliroots.

Nike Hyperdunk 2010 Christmas Day PE

The Christmas Day sneaker spotlight was set on the Air Jordan 2011, ‘Grinch’, and the Nike LeBron 8 V2 ‘Christmas’, but some of that shine was stolen by a number of other Christmas-inspired colorways that were seen on court. Here’s a look at the Nike Hyperdunk 2010 Christmas Day PE worn by Pau Gasol on Christmas Day; it features a bright electrig green upper with a varsity green midsole, black swoosh, and red laces for the Grinch-like theme that was first seen on the Kobe VI. A release hasn’t been confirmed but with Christmas now a thought of a past, a release will probably be unlikely. Check out the extra shot of the Hyperdunk 2010 Christmas Day PE as well as a look at some in-game shots of the shoe after the jump and let us know what you think. via Mayor-TV.

Nike SB Zoom Koston One ‘Tiffany’ – New Images

Here’s yet another case of Nike SB reaching back into its relatively large collection of classics to reassert Swoosh Skateboarding’s dominance in 2011.  The Diamond Supply Co. x Nike SB Dunk Low Pro was an instant sellout back in ’05 and its signature aqua shade carries over beautifully to the Nike SB Zoom Koston One.  As was the case when we saw a Blazer SB similar to Oh-Two’s ‘Lodens’, these ‘Tiffany’ Koston Ones have basically inverted the colorblocking scheme and now use the underlay color across their entire suede silhouette.  A grey Swoosh seems appropriate for today and makes this a can’t-miss when they drop as part of SB’s Q3 footwear collection.  Click through for more and let us know how these compare to other Tiffany-inspired colorways we’ve seen over the years.  via N-SB

Nike Zoom Kobe VI Grey Royal Blue

Sneaker News has kept you on top of all the specialty colorways like the Black History Month, China (previously referred to as the Chaos), and 3-D Hollywood colorways. Here’s a look at an upcoming pair that fits more of the team-based colorway motifs; featuring a great upper with a royal blue swoosh, midsole, inner inning, heel-cup, and Kobe logo with a white tongue, this upcoming release should be a popular choice for college players and NBA players alike. Players like Luke Ridnour of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Jose Barea of the Dallas Mavericks have showed heavy favor to the Kobe V, so you might expect them to wear this color somewhere down the line as the grey/blue colorway matches each player’s respective uniform. We can also expect a nice amount of team-based colorways as well, so stick with Sneaker News and we’ll give you all the up-to-date Nike Kobe information as it unfolds. via Marqueesole.

Robert Rodriguez x Kobe Bryant Black Mamba Trailers

Last year, Kobe Bryant took on the persona of Bruce Lee in the epic Nike Zoom Kobe V x Game of Death collaboration, but for 2011, Kobe Bryant will get his own role as The Black Mamba. What can you expect from this upcoming feature? The Black Mamba is directed by Robert Rodriguez, who has gained prominence in this decade for his unique action-packed 70′s kung-fu style of film as seen in Sin City, Grindhouse, and Machete. Based on these spine-tingling trailers, we can expect a similar theme and storyline as The Black Mamba takes on his “biggest challenge yet”. What’s in store for Kobe Bryant and the Nike Zoom Kobe VI? Stay tuned to Sneaker News and we’ll keep you updated on this blockbuster flick, and let us know what you think of Kobe’s partnership with one of the most recognizable directors of our time.
