The new 1574 Sonic mashup is based at least partially on its notoriously elegant design, but what about the original New Balance 1500? They’re back and as beautiful as ever with three new colorways for the second half of 2011. As is the case with most of the best 1500s, the red and purple pairs are crafted in rich suede, but that leaves the grey model to try out the rarely seen leather look. If previous releases were any indication, these might be hard to get your hands on here in the states, so click through to see more and stick with Sneaker News for word on the US drop date. via FNG

Jay Chou, who plays the role of Kato in the 2011 rehashing of Michel Gondry-directed Green Hornet, is also the man behind the PHANTACi apparel shop in Taipei, so a collaboration of sorts in which Chou’s shop would take part in wasn’t much of a surprise. To assist in the celebration of this expected blockbuster film was the New Balance MT580; PHANTACi designed this special Friends-and-Family only promo pair, and it features all of the stinging details of The Green Hornet characters, like the honey-combed finish on the upper, black patent leather, and special Green Hornet mask lace dubrae. A special double-sided hangtag featuring the Green Hornet logo and the PHANTACi emblem as well as a special Green Hornet insole are also featured in this special pair of MT580s. The PHANTACi x New Balance MT580 ‘Green Hornet’ is for eyes only, as just twelve pairs were produced, but you can see a full detailed gallery below. Take a look and let us know what you think of this Green Hornet-inspired design.

Part of the Jordan Brand February 2011 Footwear Collection includes these two all-new Jordan CMFT Viz Air 11 releases. In late 2010, Sole Collector collaborated with Jordan Brand to release a limited-edition run of CMFT 11s featuring Carbon Fiber on the upper, but clearly these February 2011 release are a fine substitution if you missed out on the Sole Collector version. The ‘South Beach’ colorway which Sneaker News gave you a better look at yesterday is also a February 2011 release, but have popped up a week earlier than scheduled. West NYC has both new colorways available right now so continue reading for another look at both new drops and make sure you pick up a pair at West or on eBay.

We just got a look at Jeremy Scott’s adidas Originals by Originals capsule for this coming fall yesterday, and here’s a look that’ll be perfectly timed when hunting season rolls around. The Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals JS Wings Camo proves there’s more where those other designs came from, adding a traditional four-color camo to the entire upper with a black sole and blaze orange sockliner. Hard to picture these up in a treestand, but then again this is far more of a seasonal look than, say, a Bill Jordan collaboration. Here’s hoping they don’t disappear when you click through to get a better look and stick with Sneaker News for the release date. via HS

Back with a (you guessed it) vengeance is the Nike Air Vengeance Plus in this sweet new ACG-inspired colorway. Much like the Nike Air Max ‘ACG Pack’ that has been slowly releasing at Nike Sportswear retailers, this Air Vengeance Plus release features a colorway that you might expect from the All Conditions Gear unit at Beaverton. Featuring a Black, Grey, Purple, and Orange colorway with pink speckled laces, a speckled midsole, and tougher, ACG-style materials, this Air Vengeance Plus changes things up from the original color-combos with this snazzy new off-beat scheme. 21 Mercer has these available now so take a look below and head there to get yours.

When one ponders ‘Snoop Dogg’ and ‘Fashion Style’, images of slightly oversized adidas Tracksuits come to mind. Snoop’s been rocking polyester three-stripes threads for as long as we can remember, and we don’t see his sense of style changing anytime soon (you can’t teach an old Dogg new tricks). Here’s another look at the Snoop Dogg x adidas Originals Freemont Mid, featuring classic Los Angeles Lakers colorways and a familiar logo on the tongue – you might remember it from his Doggystyle LP from ’93. Take another look below and watch for these on Snoop’s feet this upcoming NBA All-Star Weekend. via FRESHNESS.

Brooklyn’s finest, DJ Clark Kent is known perhaps more around these parts for his signature Nike collaboration colorway than the afore-alluded-to song. But the combination of black/grey/white/Volt and Elephant print is undoubtedly coming of age thanks to the latest 112 Pack design. We showed you a teaser just a couple days ago of this DJ Clark Kent x Nike Air Max TR1 ’112__’ and those double underscores appear on the heel to remind you where they were conceived (this range includes all BK zip codes). The Unleashed Trainer 1 has seen its fair share of wild colorways, is this the craziest yet? Click through to see more of DJCK’s Max TR1 and let us know how these compare to previous 112 looks. via Mayor-TV
