2010 saw a slew of great Asics Gel Lyte III collaborations (largely in part due to Ronnie Fieg), but here’s to an even more potent 2011 for the Gel Lyte III. Here’s a look at the HUF x Asics Gel Lyte III, currently slated for a June 2011 release; the colorway is inspired by HUF’s American roots as the colorway adopts a patriotic red, white, and blue theme with a starry insole and HUF’s ‘H’ logo stamped on the lateral heel of each shoe. HUF’s rendition of the split-tongued Gel Lyte III should definitely be on your radar when it drops later in the Summer 2011 season, so take look below and let us know what you think. via HS.

If the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Teddy Bear turned your head, get ready for another neckbreaker. Slated for a Fall 2011 release, the cuddly black-and-white bear is used as the focus of Jeremy Scott’s next un’bear’ably cute release, using a fuzzy panda bear on this upcoming collaboration with adidas Originals. The Teddy Bear was undoubtedly one of the most commotion-causing sneakers, inciting responses of “are you kidding me?” as well as “I need these!”. Again, these are expect to drop this Fall with the rest of the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Footwear Collection of that season, so check out the images below and lt us know what you think. via HS.

The upcoming Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘LA Pack’ represents some of the breathtaking highlights of the city, but here’s a custom pair of Kobe VIs that gives props to another Los Angeles trademark that might not put the city in a positive light. Using the Kobe VI Black/Del Sol as the base, sneaker customizer Emmanuelabor has created the Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘Smog’, which points to LA’s infamous smog conditions that are caused by high vehicular traffic and industrial growth in the area. Fortunately for us, ‘Smog’ has translated well to this pair of Kobes, as the upper snakeskin has been modified to featured a grey-to-black gradient, with a reflective purple layer beneath the TPU skin. You may be familiar with Emmanuelabor’s other work, like his two Air Jordan IV customs and even the Eggplant Foamposite Air Force 1 Low, so where does this Kobe VI rank amongst his creations? Would you cop these if they released? Check out the detailed shots below and let us know what you think.

Paul Pierce’s signature line with Nike Basketball remains as one of the most head-scratching enigmas of the sneaker scene over the last few years. Pierce, who has spent his entire career with the Boston Celtics after a successful stint at Kansas, took home NBA Finals MVP honors in 2008 and continues to be among the best in the G/F category in the game. Nike has given Pierce his props even before his championship year, but still, a men’s release has yet to occur. The truth about ‘The Truth’ is that his fanbase isn’t as far-reaching as other superstars like Kobe Bryant or LeBron James, but the Black History Month PE of his Nike Air Legacy 2 will definitely turn a few heads. Featuring a Black/Gold colorway with patent leather hints on the upper, gold accents on the swoosh, P2 logo on the tongue, and his ’34′ jersey number on the heel with the BHM logo beneath it, the Air Legacy 2 Black History Month PE is certainly one of the standouts of the Nike Basketball BHM collection. Check out these detailed images after the jump and watch for these this upcoming Black History Month. via SoleCollector.

Kevin Durant has emerged as the most prolific scorer in the game because despite his friendly demeanor and personality off the court, he’s all business once he touches that hardwood. We’ve seen some punchy color-combos of the Nike Zoom KD III like the tonal-yellow Christmas colorway, but perhaps its this Blackout colorway that truly mirrors KD’s focus when he’s got the ball in his hands. Durant’s current season has him dropping over 28 a game and with a comfortable lead in the scoring category while leading the OKC Thunder to one of the best records in the league and atop the Northwest Division, and the Zoom KD III takes credit for providing in-game comfort for KD’s feet. The Blackout KD III will drop at Nike Basketball retailers like Eastbay this February 4th so take a look below and let us know what you think.

The challenge in wearing denim sneakers is that you really don’t want to be dealing with similar but slightly different shades. It’s just like the select few who can match a denim jacket and jeans — you have to know what you’re doing and the key is contrast. Check out these new Nike Dunk High Premiums, which are crafted in a Medium Grey denim with white, grey and black accents to ensure you can wear these with pretty much any blue jeans, plus white or select colors if they’re still passable — but be careful with greys. They can also add a rugged punctuation to your khakis and shorts as we move into spring, and you can grab a pair now from Nike Sportswear dealers like Titolo.

Fourteen seasons in the city of Los Angeles and six signature Nike basketball shoes later, a special Los Angeles-inspired pack of sneakers will finally become available. Whether or not this concept is overdue is beyond the point – let’s just be glad that it arrives in Kobe’s best (arguably) sneaker design yet. The Nike Zoom Kobe VI LA Pack features special colorways motivated by Los Angeles territory, and there’s nothing more representative of the Californian city than its sandy beaches and the gorgeous sunsets. This pair has also been referred to as the ‘Orange County’, but the sunset graphic on the upper with the starfish sitting on sand on the insole points to more of a beach theme (and we know the LA area is full of them). Check out these new detailed images and stick with Sneaker News for more detailed info on the Zoom Kobe VI LA Pack as it unfolds. via classicshoe.

In a 2011 when we already know to expect at least three other Air Jordan VII Retro releases, one stands out as the biggest. But just how did the AJ7 ‘Bordeaux’ become one of this year’s most highly anticipated releases? Probably has a little something to do with the fact that this colorway epitomizes early ’90s color palettes, but we’ve only been teased by a sample back in 2001 that never made it to production. So we’ve been waiting for this shoe to re-release for nineteen years, which means the samples in these new photos are even older than that! A deadstock pair of Air Jordan 7 Bordeaux OG samples is the type of thing that’d require a wide screen for viewing in eBay, but instead of emptying your bank account on a shoe you’ll probably never even get the chance to bid on, just check out some more shots after the jump and let us know if you plan to cop the 2011 Bordeaux retro. via Foot Locker

Just as you’ll never cover every single trail out there, it seems like there are loads of suprises still in store for the Nike Air Max ACG Pack. In truth, we’ve seen this dope Velvet Brown edition earlier, but with the Nike Air Max 1 ‘ACG’ releases having been staggered over the past few weeks, it seems like we’re seeing a new one every single day. Clearly with the quality here that’s a good thing and you can see more photos of this pair after the jump before you grab yours from select Nike Sportswear accounts like Titolo.

The Nike Athletics Far East collection is marked by its trademark camouflage print, but the Nike Zoom Supreme Court doesn’t seem to feature it at all. Another mark of the AFE is its hybrid-like designs, which we saw in the Nike Lava Dunk, and the Zoom Supreme Court appears to be a hybrid of previous Nike models itself. Part Nike Terminator, part Nike Tennis Classic, the Zoom Supreme Court could easily fool you into thinking that it was indeed an original model dating back to Nike’s 1983-1986 era thanks to the vintage-style suede upper and terrycloth inner lining. LTD-Online has all three colorways available so take a look at the images below and let us know what you think of this vintage-inspired design.
