The Air Jordan 2011 is certainly the hot topic from Jordan Brand at this moment, but here’s another look at the Jordan Prime 5 ‘Laser’ that combined Jordans number 1 and number 5. This Prime 5 release features a laser-etched upper graphic detailing the Air Jordan Legacy in mosaic form, completely overtaking the black portions of the upper while leaving just the center faux-netting panel clear. The Prime 5 combines the Air Jordan Alpha 1 body frame with the Air Jordan V trademarks like the oversized 3M-reflective tongue and the clear lacelock with Lasering that first debuted on the Air Jordan XX. Too much at once, or just the perfect mix? These just dropped at Size? in the UK so check out these new detailed images below and check out the prices on eBay.

We’re certain man-child LeBron James was wearing a men’s size 7.5 when he was still a toddler, but for the humans of normal anatomical proportions, check out Nike LeBron 8 V/2 ‘Cool Grey’ for toddlers. The special add-on t0 the toddler-sized LeBron 8s is the shiny metallic silver ankle strap (which would look ridiculously awesome on the men’s version), but these do no feature an Air Max cushion. Perfect for your little one when he/she is dunking over the other kiddies at the sandbox or during the pick-up games at Daycare, these snazzy toddler LeBrons will be great additions to your child’s growing sneaker collection. Check out the pics below and pick up a pair from awesomelee65 on eBay.

The Nike ACG Lunar MacLeay was All Conditions Gear’s best new release in 2010, one that made the cut for our Sneaker News Top 30 list. And if the MacLeay was a free throw shooter, it’d be Steve Kerr because pretty much every single colorway is a can’t miss. The latest is this black leather edition whose Moss Green accents and vibrant green midsole-rim speckling keep it anchored to the outdoorsy feel without placing them out of range for your wardrobe. A worthy followup to the identically blocked Fog nubuck pair that most recently hit retail, this black leather Lunar MacLeay is available now from id4shoes on eBay.

If there wasn’t already a Nike Air Force 1 ‘Scarface’, then these could easily take their spot. This latest Air Force 1 Low reminds us that 2010 featured a ton of all-white and all-black, but all you’d need is a pair of red laces to journey back from ’11 all the way to 1983. Obvious allusions aside, these represent a wholly new look thanks to the interplay between the relatively flat white forefoot and a glossy black leather that peeks through via side panel Swoosh. Another fine example of Nike Sportswear working with ‘subtler’ visual qualities than just colors and blocking patterns, this new panda bear AF1 Low is available from Caliroots.

When one thinks of ‘patchwork’, you’re probably picturing a pair of piecemeal cargo shorts constructed of various Madras plaids, and while there’s a bit of that on here, the latest release from adidas Originals might give you a new association. The adidas Originals Superstar ‘Patchwork’ earns its name by combining a variety of materials onto a single shelltoe. Everything from canvas and mesh to leather and patterned textiles are in play here, resulting in another look that signals to the world Three Stripes is ready to move on from post-recession tonality. This release seems like a logical step from their mid-’00s (and a few recent drops) high contrast fare, and you can see more after the jump. via SDG

The latest Bread & Butter Berlin tradeshow featured a huge preview of late 2011 footwear from Boston-based brand, New Balance. NB has five factories in the New England area, but likely their most famous production facility is located in Flimby, England. Kicks crafted at Flimby are ‘Made in England’, just like these New Balance M576s for fall/Winter 2011. The high quality leather on these three previewed pairs is somewhat similar to End’s Pub Pack collaboration, and their elegant color(s)/blocking is every bit as classic as an order of fish and chips. These’ll hit some time after July 1, so click through for more and stick with Sneaker News for updates. via FNG

The adidas ZX running lineup has earned countless fans over the years, first as a high performance line and more recently in appreciation of their timeless style. The ZX look now carries over into this new model, the adidas Originals ZX789. These joints feature familiar design cues like the triangular geometry and particularly the distinctive heel counters. The first two colorways almost swap how their grey and black bases are blocked, with one pari adding neon while the other pair goes for a more emerald green accent shade. Click through to see both pairs, let us know where these rank amongst the adidas ZX running series and grab yours today, only from Dr. Jays.

The Nike Air Span has gone a long way since its original debut in 1988; now featuring a techy-upper with 3M strips, seamless construction, and breathable mesh on a running specific iPod integration-ready midsole, the Air Span+ 8 is all no-frills performance combining lightweight build and a super-comfy ride. However, that doesn’t mean you can pound the concrete without style, because the Air Span+ 8 is one of the best looking runners out there, with a tiny swoosh planted at the peak of the toe and a neat cracked concrete sectional on the medial side of the midsole. Marathon-training season is in (then again, it’s in all year) so check out these new pics of the Air Span+ 8 in Dark Grey, Voltage Yellow, and Black below and pick up a pair right now at JDSports.

adidas Originals has shown us what they have in store for the NBA All Star Weekend, but here’s one that salutes the everyday residents of Staples Center. This new adidas Originals Forum Low from the ongoing Tokyo Tech capsule might as well be a LA-Tech edition with this Lakered colorway that Snoop Dogg himself would love. It’s particularly interesting to see how the distinctive toothy heel looks when compared to the black/white/royal look that’s synonymous with the pack, and has us wondering who’d win in this Lakers/Magic ‘rematch’. Click on the jump to see more and grab yours today from Kicks-Crew.

The Nike Vapor TR Max is somewhat of an indirect sequel to the Nike Trainer 1.2 Mid Fuse. The Vapor TR Max features the same Free-grooved Max Air cushioned lower-half construction as the Fuse Trainer while featuring a unique upper design comprised of the weightless Fuse material. The Vapor TR Max features Fuse wherever possible – the toebox, center panel, and even the heel – making the Vapor TR Max as heavy as, well, vapor. This all new Photo Blue, White, and Dark Grey colorway just hit Eastbay so check out this sweet detailed gallery below and check out the Nike Vapor TR Max at Nike Training retailers now.

Nike has applied Fuse material to everything from the flagship Zoom Hyperfuse basketball shoe to the Trainer series and now even the venerable Dunk High, but would they go so far as to offer it to their chief rival? Seems unlikely, but then again there’s an undeniable similarity between Fuse and the Sprint Skin uppers on the adidas adiPure. And it doesn’t stop there, as the highly breathable upper has been blocked very cleanly, just as in the case with many Zoom Hyperfuse colorways and player exclusives. The adiPure just hit retail in blue/black/orange, green/black and bred, so click through for more and grab a pair directly from Shopadidas.

The Nike Air Max Penny 1 is undoubtedly one of the best ‘debut’ signature shoes in Nike history. A fat, juicy Max Air bubble on the heel, the enlarged jeweled swoosh, the pinstriped tongue – it was a beauty of a creation fitting for the most exciting and marketable player in the game that wasn’t named Michael Jordan. The Nike Air Max Penny 1 was confirmed for a 2011 release by Sneaker News last year, so here’s a look at the version set to drop in the coming months; not much has changed, and that’s clearly a good thing because the Penny 1 was a near-flawless shoe. Check out these new detailed images below and stick with Sneaker News for more information regarding this Air Max Penny 1 release. via Kinetics.
