The Lakers and Celtics have been bitter rivals for decades, and for the 2011 NBA Finals, there could very well be a rematch of last year’s contest. Both Kobe Bryant and Rajon Rondo are the backcourt leaders for their respective teams but in two distinct roles – Kobe being the dominant scorer and Rajon being the pass-master and floor general. During last night’s NBA games, Rajon and Kobe both had something in common – they both wore all-new colorways of the Nike Zoom Kobe VI. Kobe Bryant wore a similar pair to the ‘Home’ Concord colorway that features a silver midsole and heel-cap, while Rajon matched his Celtics’ unit with the Zoom Kobe VI Rice H.S. PE. A sign of respect for Kobe, or just an attempt to match his uniform with the best low-cut performance basketball shoe on the market?
