In 2001, Jordan Brand re-issued four different colorways of the Air Jordan 1 High in original and all-new colorways. This White/Midnight Navy colorway was released as a Japan-exclusive and featured a limited production run of 7,650 pairs, with each pair featuring a designated number tag. However, this unreleased sample of the 2001 release features two notable differences; for one, it’s numbered 00000 of 00000. Secondly, the Jumpman logo on the heel features a photorealistic image of Michael Jordan (the original ‘pose’ that sparked the Jumpman logo). This unreleased sample is undoubtedly extremely rare and serves to be an outstanding addition to any true Air Jordan collector and fanatic. What do you think of this logo? Do you prefer this over the solid-colored Jumpman logos we see on Jordans today? Take a gander at this gallery of images of this rare Air Jordan sample; if you want to see if the price is right for you, check out the auction from zaphenath.paneah on eBay.
