With the recently concluded Super Bowl featuring two legendary teams who share yellow as an accent color, a major theme could have been ‘black vs. green’. And Oregon Ducks PEs aside, we tend to see far more black-n-yellow sneakers than those with Green Bay colors, but it looks like New Balance decided to split the difference with these. The latest New Balance ML574 LBT colorway definitely has golden yellow accents, but is the tumbled nubuck upper black? Is it a dark, earthy green? What about brown? The answer is probably some of all of these and likely dependent upon lighting but you might expect something like Nike’s Dark Loden shade in most settings.
