We’ve been through several months worth of strapless Nike SB Dunk Mids now, and unlike the fat tongue debacle, it seems like many sneakerheads and skaters are actually pleased with the change. Here’s a look at a Dunk Mid SB from a bygone era that never made it to retail, and judging by the ankle strap, has little chance of resurrection. These joints have a distinct Christmas feel thanks to an emerald green suede upper adding a black croc Swoosh and red accents, but a gum rubber outsole offers the kind of timeless styling necessary to make these a year-round look.
