Derek Anderson and his finely-trimmed goatee were once the earliest members of the Team Jordan list of athletes. The University of Kentucky alumni began his career with the Cleveland Cavaliers and earned a reputation as a dependable scorer with a solid all-around game, and during his season with the 2006 NBA Champions Miami Heat, Anderson was the recipient of Player Exclusive colorways of the Air Jordan V Low in White/Varsity Red-Black and and Black/Varsity Red. The ‘Home’ version could be considered as a low-cut version of the original White/Varsity Red-Black colorway, but the ‘Away’ is in a colorway that we’ve never seen in the Air Jordan V before. Another interesting fact is that the Air Jordan V Low was only produced in women’s sizes and it should be noted that Anderson’s PE’s are listed as ‘WMNS’ in the inner tongue label, although these probably are a true Mens size 13.
