You know how you can hear a song and instantly be transported back to a flashbulb memory? In the case of sneaker customizer NASHMONEY‘s latest project, this effect seems to work in reverse order and we swear we can hear ‘Push it to the Limit’ from the Scarface soundtrack when looking at the amazing piece pictured above. NASH took a pair of raw white-on-white Nike Air Force 1s and made them into one of the more interesting custom jobs in history for Havana Club’s Inspired Ingenuity design competition. These AF1s are now fully-functional ‘Sneaker Speakers’ that we bet around these parts appear as beautiful as anything Bang & Olufsen ever produced. It’s safe to say he nailed the competition’s aim at transforming everyday objects into something entirely new, but would you wanna place these alongside your Technics? via Art & Sole

agreed. probably would want a different kick for the speaker but the idea is "sound". I'd buy them if my dollars wasn't set to go elsewhere.

yup that's all. After all they are called AIR force 1's yet theres no air bag…. By my calculations they should be called force 1's. By the looks of it he didnt take the sole off so he didnt remove the air, so that means nike just doesnt put air in AIR forces. Lets dissect more nike's so we know which shoes dont deserve the air title anymore.
