Nike Zoom Kobe VI – White – Black – Maize – New Images

Since Michael Jordan led the Chicago Bulls to six championships in the 1990s, the standard for NBA Playoff sneakers has been black kicks/black socks.  Nike Basketball shifted this default a bit last year when several Playoff Pack releases dropped in primarily white colorways, unified by a tessellated pattern on each pair’s upper.  The Zoom Kobe V was a standout in that collection for its black base, but could these new Nike Zoom Kobe VIs be a sign of things to come for this postseason? A shoe previously labeled as the ZK6 POP, this white, black and gold colorup was featured during last night’s game at Staples Center when Kobe teammates Shannon Brown and Lamar Odom rocked ’em en route to a victory over the Atlanta Hawks.   So the POP distinction seems to have fallen through, but are thest still a must cop?  Click through to get a better look and let us know if you’d like to see Kobe wearing these during the best-of-sevens or would you rather see something a bit more outrageous?  via in52
