The Black History Month theme of Black and Gold has touched on Nike Basketball’s best and brightest, and it appears that the Nike Zoom Uptempo V from the mid-90′s has been invited to the festivities. The Zoom Uptempo V – originally Jason Kidd’s signature, is one of the most unique Nike Basketball designs ever seen, with the over-sized metallic pod on the upper and a turf-shoe like traction on the outsole. This black and gold version features a synthetic leather and nubuck upper with metallic gold hints on the upper accents, like the swoosh, lace eyelets, pod, and speckled into the translucent ‘smoke’ outsole. The Uptempo V is a popular shoe in Asia, but hasn’t seen much play in the states as of late. Does this new colorway change that? See more images below and let us know what you think. via kinstor.
