Jordan Evolution ’85 – White – Varsity Red – Stealth

One of the featured Air Jordan models during the 2011 NBA All-Star Game was the Jordan Evolution ’85, seen on the feet of Jordan Brand athlete Joe Johnson. The Evolution ’85 is unlike any other Air Jordan shoe, as it combines a forefoot stability strap with a lightwight mesh sockliner for a supreme lock-down fit. The light elephant print applique on the heelguard adds just the right touch of nostalgia to this advanced design, and of course, classic Nike Air provides the never-fail cushioning to this great design. This new White/Varsity Red-Stealth colorway is set for March 2011 release, but they’re available now at Nikestore. More detailed images await you so take a look and let us know what you think.

Nike Air Max 90 Premium ‘CBF Pack’ – Black – Ostrich

Nike Sportswear’s devotion to the sport of football/soccer has been well documented over the years, particular during World Cup play. Last year’s Nike Sportswear Six Collection included six different capsules designed by unique artists of each region – the U.S., France, South Africa, the Netherlands, the UK, and Brasil – and for 2011, NSW will continue its longstanding connection with the world’s most popular sport. The recent release of a trio of Nike Dunk Highs which were part of the French Football Federation Pack only hinted at other ‘Packs’ to come, like the CBF (Confederação Brasileira de Futebol), Brasil’s primary governing body of the sport. We last showed you a unique tonal-white Air Max 90 that featured ‘CBF’ on the heel badge, so here’s a second pair of Air Max 90s from the CBF Pack in a tonal black and ostrich leather construction. The toe and ankle collar use a tight mesh material, and the translucent outsole acts as a window to the unique pattern printed on the underside of the footbed. We’ve got another angle for you after the jump so take a look and let us know what you think. via Tenisufki.

Kazuki x adidas Originals x JAM HOME MADE – New Images

Animal prints have played a significant role in adidas spring 2011 footwear collection, and while the patent leather leopard sections only make up a small percentage of the surface area, it’s critical to this latest look from Kazuki Kuarishi.  Created in conjunction with Japanese accessory makers JAM HOME MADE, the Kazuki x adidas Originals design pictured above is based on the immortal Stan Smith but adds the heel and tongue straps that have typified the KZK collabos.  It’s worth noting that while the black pair retains the ‘EYELET’ gold lettering on its side panels, this forward and backward print is conspicuously absent on the whtie ones.  Click through to get a better view of both and stick with Sneaker News for word on the US release; they should be out sometime next month. via Freshness

Air Jordan III Skullcandy Pack Available on eBay

One of the items of interest at the Jordan Brand Showcase at Footaction in Culver City was the Air Jordan III ‘Skullcandy Pack’ which included a pair of Air Jordan III White/Cement and elephant print Skullcandy headphones in Elephant Print packaged in a sweet set-up fit for both items. The slide-out black/red box features a Jumpman window, sponge-lined with hollowed-out arrangements to perfectly fit the Jordans and the Aviator headphones. Just twenty-three individually numbered packages were up for grabs so you already know how rare this set-up is, and Jordan Brand partnership with the audio-equipment maker is just one example of how Jordan Brand is spreading its wings beyond the realm of footwear, but into pop-culture brands and trends. Continue reading for a detailed look at this awesome packaging and to see if the price is to your liking, check out this auction from thecoolshoeshine on eBay.

Air Jordan VI Bordeaux by Mizzee Customs

The last time Mizzecustoms did a custom pair of Air Jordans, Sneaker News brought up the topic of bringing classic colorways of Air Jordans that are exclusive to one particular model to other Air Jordan designs. The Air Jordan VI ‘Hare’ was a great example of that, and Mizzee’s handiwork brought on a ton of positive feedback as well as ideas of other Jordans in colorways you might’ve never expected. Here’s yet another piece of eye-candy from Mizzeecustoms lab – the Air Jordan VI ‘Bordeaux’. Inspired by the upcoming re-issue of the Air Jordan VII Bordeaux, Mizzee brought on the Black, Bordeaux, Light Graphite, Yellow, Blue, and Green onto the Air Jordan VI for a jaw-dropping custom pair of kicks that we’d all instantly cop if they hit the shelves. We’ve got more images after the jump as well as a video in which Mizzeecustoms walks us through the design process so take a look and let us know what you think.

NBA Feet: John Wall – Reebok Question Mid

John Wall’s been Reebok Zig’s poster-boy for the 2010-11 NBA Season, but for the first game back from the 2011 All-Star Weekend, Wall changed it up a bit by wearing the classic Reebok Question Mid in white/blue colorway. The Reebok Question Mid of the mid-late 90′s is a cult favorite and considered to be one of Reebok’s best ever of the post-Pump era, and you might even recall a mini-afro’ed Allen Iverson wearing the Question while giving Michael Jordan a nice crossover during their first match-up in AI’s rookie campaign. Unfortunately for Wall, he isn’t the first to bring up the Question, as former teammate Gilbert Arenas of the Orlando Magic broke these out early last month. Check out John Wall’s ‘other’ Reeboks after the jump and let us know what you think. via ESPN.

Blake Griffin Visits Nike Vault During All Star Weekend

While not on the level of the Kobes, LeBrons, and Wades just yet, Blake Griffin is without a doubt the hottest topic in the NBA right now. The guy’s been dunking over anything with a pulse and doing so with an unsettling ease that leaves you wondering if he’s got what it takes to take over the NBA a few years down the line. He’s not only playing with style, but also with purpose; the Clippers, while still a sub-.500 team, have us paying attention about the other Los Angeles team for the first time in a long while, and with a young and talented roster in a suddenly thinning Western Conference list of superstars, it’s Blake Griffin’s NBA to lose.

Over the All-Star Weekend, Blake Griffin visited the Nike Vault in the Staples Center to talk with fans about his latest achievement, which was winning the 2011 NBA Dunk Contest while jumping over a Kia Optima, catching an off-the-backboard pass from Baron Davis who peered his head out of the sunroof like a groundhog. During the visit, Blake brought his Dunk Contest kicks – the Nike Air Max Fly By in an earth-shattering red and black colorway with a translucent outsole and a seismic graphic on the heel. These are similar to the Nike Hyperdunk 2011 that Blake debuted in the All-Star Game as well. Continue reading for a nice recap of Blake’s visit to Nike Vault and let us know, do you think Blake deserves a signature shoe, or is Nike B-Ball a bit crowded with Kobe, LeBron, and KD? via hoopchina.

Nike Air Foamposite Pro – Electric Green – Black – White | Available Early on eBay

Wale’s recent sneaker sighting should definitely have you focused back on Foamposites. The rapper who hails from DC was recently spotted wearing the upcoming ‘Dark Pine’ colorway of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro during a sick live performance at the House of Blues last Saturday. One major debate about his kicks was whether or not they were truly a green shade (dark pine almost looked black). We all know that this upcoming Foamposite release is a bona-fide shade of green – Electric Green to be exact. Had Nate Robinson submitted his name into the 2011 Dunk Contest billing, these Electric Green foams might’ve been his WDYWT submission for the night. In any case, these won’t drop until March 5th so avoid a release-date mishap and guarantee a pair right now by copping one from 95soleman on eBay.
