Air Jordan V Retro Wolf Grey | Release Info

The Air Jordan V was designed by Tinker Hatfield and inspired Mustang fighter jets. The upper translucent ‘netting’ offered a lightweight advantage, and the oversized, 3M-reflective tongue was a used as a huge billboard of sorts for the Jumpman logo. But enough about the past: dropping on May 14th at Jordan Brand retailers is the all-new ‘Wolf Grey’ colorway of the Air Jordan V. Grey color schemes have been a popular one for Jordans in the past so there’s no mystery that these will be a big hit once they release. A mid-May drop means you’ll have one more neck-breaking item before school lets out and another pair for your summer-time rotation. Are these a must-have for you? Check out the new images and let us know. via ruvilla.

Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Mid – Black – White – April 2011

For as long as we’ve known a Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Mid was on the way, we’ve been waiting for the above pictured colorway.  Nearly an entire year of teasers and previews later, the higher cut Janoksi Mid is finally (almost) ready for retail.  These joints are crafted in black suede for the best boardfeel, a sense of skateboard-as-second-nature deepened by the vulcanized rubber sole.  But there’s also Zoom Air cushioning in the sockliner, so just like hybridizing a boat shoe to use for skating purposes, the Zoom + vulc combo is the best of all possible worlds.  Click through to see more and grab a pre-order in advance of the April 2011 shipdate, courtesy of Active.

Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals JS Teddy Bear – Pink | Available

We shudder to think of a sneaker landscape that includes collaborations with household cleaning product makers, but then again, maybe tossing a little Snuggle bear in with some red Rit is a good idea.  He’d come out looking just like the tongue of this new Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals JS Teddy Bear, the latest in a long line of tongue manipulations from the most audacious ObyO contributor.  These are completely covered in fur, with white accents on a pink base that gives way to a tonal sole.  It’s pretty clear from these photos that the JS Teddy Bear looks great with dark denim, so make a smart choice with your shirt and you’ve got yourself something special.  Click through for more shots and grab yours from select Three Stripes retailers like CitySole or on eBay.

NBA Feet: Kicks From Around The League – 2/16/11

NBA All-Star Weekend is about to kick off, but before we turn our attention to the Staples Center (where all the festivities will be held), let’s take a look at the NBA action from last night’s games. The Cleveland Cavaliers avenged their embarrassing loss to the Lakers by beating the defending champions at Home, while Chris Bosh and the Miami Heat took a trip to Bosh’s former team in Toronto. Dwyane Wade, who has been wearing the Air Jordan 2011 recently, momentarily switched to the Air Jordan 2010 during the game. LeBron James wore the LeBron 8 V2 ‘Cool Grey’, leaving the V1 behind for good, but his teammate Mike Miller as well as other NBAers around the league such as Nate Robinson and Eric Bledsoe wore the LeBron 8 V1. Other notable sneakers included Andray Blatche’s Zoom Kobe V iD, J.J. Hickson’s Cranberry 1/2 Cent, Gilbert Arenas in the Air Flight Falcon, and another Shox BB Pro sighting – this time a sweet PE on the feet of Knicks center Timofey Mozgov. Check out the rest of the NBA action below and stay tuned to Sneaker News for some great All-Star Game Feet coverage this weekend. via ESPN.

Converse Chuck Taylor High – Fruit Pack

Converse Japan brought us a ‘Candy Pack’ for Christmas, but maybe some people really can keep New Year’s resolutions, cos these are considerably more ‘healthy’.  If you’re gonna have some desert go for natural sugars courtesy of the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Hi ‘Fruit Pack’, a sweet-n-sour mix of canvas Chucks done with strawberries or lemon slices printed onto their canvas uppers.  No word yet on a tea-themed release to go Arnold Palmer style, but this is definitely a pack that’d mix together well.  Click through to see both pairs and stick with Sneaker News for the latest new Chuck Taylors.  via SM

Air Jordan VII Retro – White – Orion Blue | New Images

Infrared is most commonly associated with the Air Jordan VI but it’ll be playing a critical role in the upcoming Air Jordan VII ‘Orion Blue’.  These two accent shades define an otherwise white and black design, and just to drive the Infrared point home, imagine how different this shoe would look were those sections purple, grey, yellow or really anything else.  In fact, the mostly white construction means that this one stands out as an early candidate for best custom design base.  But they already look just about perfect as-is so have a closer look after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates as the March 26th release date approaches.  via HoopChina

Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Cincinnati Available Early

The secret ingredient in Cincinnati-style chili is cinnamon but this Cincy-inspired sneaker looks like it’s covered in cayenne.  The Nike Air Max Griffey 1 ‘Cincinnati’ represents the second half of Junior’s career when he chose to be closer to his family by signing with the hometown Reds.  These stay true to OG form by featuring 24 instead of the 30 Griffey wore in honor of his father’s time with the same team some twenty years earlier.  It’s kinda perfect really, the shoe being ‘off’ by a tiny margin in the way the Kid’s career seemed to turn after he left Seattle.  A bittersweet retrospective on perhaps the greatest baseball player of the last two decades told by an undeniably sick retro trainer, the Sport Red AGM1 will hit retailers on February 26th but they’re already in at BX Sports.

Style: 354912-106
Color: White/Black-Sport Red-Metallic Silver
