Alex Meacham Discusses the Inspiration for the Bin 23 Air Jordan V

Sometimes collecting sneakers can go a long, long way. Meet Alex Meacham, a big-time collector of Jordans and former player for the Cincinnati Bearcats Mens Basketball Team. Recently, Meacham was the recipient of one of the biggest sneaker honors, in which he was asked for input for the Air Jordan V Premio of the Bin 23 Collection – the Jordan model that happens to be his favorite of all time. Although the colorway seen on the Premio V isn’t necessarily new, Meacham discusses in significance behind the white shoelaces (Jordan switched to white laces for one night and dropped an easy 48). Meacham’s sneakerhead history is one that we can not only relate to, but hope that we can emulate, as his fervor for Jordans has led him to some great opportunities and friendships today. Check out the video interview with Alex Meacham to find out more about his sneakerhead history and about his inspiration for the Air Jordan V Premio, and come meet the man himself tonight at 7PM at Corporate, where a special Premio V release part will be held. via Cincinnatinews.
