Nike Blazer High – Black – Photo Blue – Glow in the Dark

When you imagine a pair of glow in the dark sneakers, chances are you’re imagining a green tinted phosphorescent material like the sole of the Nike Air Yeezy.  Most GITD kicks have this unmistakable look even in broad daylight but here’s a new pair of Nike Blazer Highs that keep their special feature a secret.  These soon to be House of Hoops-exclusive Blazers see their blue sections light up in the right conditions but otherwise they just seem like any other high contrast accents you might expect to see paired with the black mesh upper.  Click through to see more and stick with Sneaker News for word on the US release date.  via LTD

Air Jordan XVI – Ray Allen Home PE

Ray Allen has played for three teams in his (now Hall of Fame-locked) career, all of which have prominently used green in their uniforms.  Allen was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves who traded his rights in exchange for Stephon Marbury to the Milwaukee Bucks, and it was in the Bradley Center that Ray played the first six and a half years worth of his NBA career’s home games.  2000-01 found Allen among a select few Jordan Brand ballers carrying the brand in MJ’s absence and this Air Jordan XVI PE offers a distinct picture of the state of the brand circa one decade ago.  Notice how much smoother the embroidery from Allen’s record breaking game Air Jordan XIII is compared to the shroud of these Sixteens.  We can only expect that player exclusives will continue to improve in their personalized touches so click through to see more of this one and let us know where they rank in Ray Allen’s expansive history of Air Jordans.  via HC

Kobe Bryant x Nike Air Force 1 Pack – Release Info

Despite all the hoopla and media whirlwind caused by LeBron’s decision to leave for Miami and the ‘South Beach’ LeBron 8 that immediately followed, 2010-11 has been Kobe’s year. After winning his fifth championship and unveiling his sixth signature shoe with Nike, Kobe Bryant is enjoying the sweet life as head honcho of Nike Basketball; a ton of sweet Kobe VI colorways have already made their way to store shelves and we also got a look at two Kobe-inspired Air Force 1s – the most historic and time-honored Nike Basketball shoe to date. Releasing this Thursday at 21 Mercer is the Kobe Bryant x Nike Air Force 1 Pack – a sick duet of the Nike Air Force 1 Low VT and Nike Air Force 1 High Foamposite. Both pairs feature Kobe’s golden Shozoku logo on the tongue with each pair owning its own Mamba-esque quality (the Low has a snakeskin lace placket, the High is done up in rich Varsity Purple). Hit up 21 Mercer and other select retailers this Thursday, or pick up a pair now on eBay.

Nike Air Force 1 Returning to Nike iD

The most recent Nike Air Force 1 iD ‘Quickstrike’ of sorts this past December was astoundingly successful as the mere 350 iD-able units were gone in no time. This February 18th, the classic Nike Air Force 1 will return to Nike iD for a second go-around – although this time, the availability or time-frame of the AF1s tenure on Nike’s personal customization site hasn’t been confirmed. Will it be another limited run, or is the Air Force 1 here to stay? You can still iD a pair of Forces at Nike iD studios around the world, but for the many unlucky ones who live nowhere near one, be advised that February 18th is the date to mark on your calendar. Let us know what Nike Air Force 1 iD ideas you’ve got after the jump.

Kasina x Reebok Kasina Giants 15th Anniversary Collection

Fifteen years is but a tease of the freedom in years to come when it’s your birthday, but when we’re talking about a sneaker specialist, that represents OG status.  And with the whole capital letter thing in mind, here’s a look at the Kasina x Reebok ‘Kasina Giants’ pack that prominently features a deluxe varsity jacket with sewn-on patches commemorating a nickle-and-dime of the very best kind.  The light blue on the left chest crest (say that three times fast) is a perfect match for a new Reebok Pump AXT, a rarely seen retro from 1990 whose lateral ankle gull embroidery also corresponds with the left sleeve.  Click through to see more and let us know if you’ll try to work your connects to get in on this pack.

UNDFTD x Puma Clyde Collection

Sneaker Freaker literally wrote the book on the Puma Clyde, our first glimpse at this promo piece coming in the last month of a 2010 conspicuously absent of Clyde collabos.  And now for the first time since Ubiq and SneakersNStuff dropped theirs within a week of each other, UNDEFEATED will apply their magic touch to this ’70s born legend of a lowtop.  The UNDFTD x Puma Clyde goes in a unique direction by offering a price range from $65 to a buck-twenty, presumably depending on relative material luxury.  1500 of each pair will release to a list of 30 select retailers in April so click through to see more and stick with Sneaker News for the exact release date.  via Ty

Celebrity Feet: Spike Lee – Nike Zoom Huarache TR Mid – Alpha Pack

made the trek over to the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey to watch his New York Knicks take on the New Jersey Nets this weekend and Spike, in typical fashion, came dressed in Knicks attire that spanned from his Orange winter cap to his Knicks Varsity Jacket and throwback jersey. While Spike typically matches his kicks with his Knicks jersey this game he decided to bring out a pair of the newly released Nike Zoom Huarache TR Mid’s that were a part of the Alpha Pack that was released in very limited quantities this past week. Even though the Black, Cool Grey, and Volt Nike Trainer’s don’t match the Knicks’ colors it’s hard to deny that these are a dope looking pair of kicks. After the jump you can check out who else attended the game and let us know what you think about Spike’s Huarache TR Mid’s.
