The Undefeated x Air Jordan IV itself is already one of the toughest shoes to own, but this unreleased sample version of stretches the bounds of ‘limited’ to darn-near non-existent. What makes this sample version so special? It features an additional black section on the rear portion of the midsole above the visible Air window. The released (or more accurately, ‘available’) version features a solid white midsole. How rare are these Rare Airs? There isn’t a finite number, but let’s just say you can count ’em all with the fingers in one hand. The Undefeated x Air Jordan IV is always a head-turner whenever it makes a public appearance – it was the shoe of focus during CNBC’s recent investigative report on the world sneakers and it also caused a stirring debate when big-time sneakerhead Mayor rocked ’em during the 2011 NBA All-Star Weekend. These are certainly one of the rarest Jordans out there, so check out the hoopla after the jump and take a look at the asking price in this auction from pantsag on eBay.
