In March of 2009, Nike SB released the Nike SB Dunk Mid ‘TV’, a simple Cappuccino/Silver colorway that featured a unique insole graphic taking after the multi-colored screens that come up on your TV set when you have no signal. Those days are long gone (unless you’re still living in the pre-HD tuner era), but here’s a chance to relive the times of the past. This unreleased version of the Nike SB Dunk Mid also features that pixelated ‘TV’ graphic on the tongue – the same one seen on the insole. Why this version was scrapped in favor of the classic Nike SB tongue label is unclear, but this rare size 9 sample just popped up for purchase. Check out the images of this unreleased SB Dunk Mid below and if you’re interested, check out the auction from mental_therapy on eBay.
