With the Nike Zoom KD III now available on Nike iD, the colorway possibilities are truly endless. There are, of course, the colorways that you can’t get on Nike iD, like this upcoming Maroon and Gold version that features a full gum outsole, previously featured in a Summer 2011 Preview of the KD III. Very rarely do you see a gum sole on a performance shoe (it’s usually reserved for lifestyle footwear releases), but in this case, the light brown gum colorway matches well with the upper. The somewhat random colorway doesn’t have much bearing on Kevin Durant’s past team affiliations (Thunder, Sonics, Longhorns, McDonald’s All-American, Monstrose Christian, Drew Freeman), but you might even see these on the feet of some Cleveland Cavaliers players this season (KD’s cool with that). Check out the detailed images of this new Nike Zoom KD III colorway after the jump and let us know what you think.
