Sneaker News first showed you the unreleased sample version of the Nike Air Max 2010; it featured a patent leather mudguard with a mesh upper, with five Flywire panels falling from the lace eyelets. The same running-specific 360 Max Air unit was used, but the upper design is obviously completely different from the released version of the Air Max 2010. Many of our readers were very happy with the design of these, but all in all these were a bit too similar to the Air Max 2009 for it to warrant full production. Here’s a look at a Grey/Purple of this unreleased Air Max 2010 sample; it features the same patent leather upper mudguard with hints of purple on the tongue, laces, and inner lining.
