Nike iD is a dream for those who wish to customize shoes, but lack the necessary tools and handiwork to complete a project. We’ve seen a ton of great Nike iD concepts over the years, and some have taken their iD’s a step further to create an even more personalized pair of kicks. For example, one Air Max 1 fan used Nike iD to customize a pair of Air Max 1’Heinekens’, and then took it a step further by adding some extra accents like a red star patch on the heel and a bottle-cap on the tongue. That Air Max 1 iD Custom (redundant?) took the top spot in one of our Best of WDYWT votes, and maybe these new Nike iD Customs has what it takes to follow suit. Check out this Nike Air Max 1 iD Custom inspired by the Nike Zoom Kobe V ‘Throw it Down, Shannon Brown’ that Brown wore during the 2010 NBA Dunk Contest. It features a white and grey upper with a hot red inner lining and translucent green outsole, with a re-painted blue midsole to match the Kobe V. Mizzeecustoms is known for his complete transformations of shoes, but he shows us here that even the most subtle changes can make huge differences. Check out the gallery below and let us know what you think.
