adidas Originals Summer Deck Spring 2011 Colorways

Few footwear choices convey the warm feelings of summertime as well as boat shoes and as they’ve become an increasingly mainstream choice, we’re seeing more and more sneaker hybrids.  The midtop version of Nike SB’s Stefan Janoski signature just hit retail and while these new adidas Originals Summer Deck lowtops aren’t built for skating, they’re every bit as satisfying from a lifestyle perspective.  Check out these two new Summer Deck colorway sin navy and beige canvas, two pairs that have among the best alternate laces for any pack we can remember.  They both look great with tonal leather cords holding them together but adding gold to navy or red to beige makes for a couple-a head-turners.  Click through to see more, let us know how they compare to the other boat shoe-infused kicks we’ve seen here on Sneaker News and look for these at select adidas Originals retailers.  via FNG

Nike Air PR1 White Brown Summer 2011

We’ve seen the OG Air Pressure colorway and a couple others, so what does Nike Sportswear have in store for new Air PR1 looks for the summer?  Check out this new pair in white leather, a deviation on the all-whites we saw a short while back thanks to tonal brown accents including the Swooshes, tongue tags and outsoles.  This suggests you’ll wanna wear ‘em with some khakis, maybe olive green, grey or black twill, but the neutral tones means they’ll work just as well with camo, jeans or pretty much any other non-white pants. The 3M accents on the upper transforms the black upper sectional into a nice beige glittery tone. Click through to see more of this summer 2011 release and if you like what you see, grab the US mens size 9 sample from langox510x on eBay.

Nike Trainer 1.2 Low Chili Red + Photo Blue

Had the Nike Trainer 1.2 Low been available last year when the massive Air Attack Pack released, these two new pairs could have been a nice addition.  They offer a similar look with their simple two-toned colorways blocked with all-white uppers plus Swoosh outlines, bottom eyelets and soles all in a contrasting shade.  Your choice of Chili Red or Photo Blue might also bring to mind classic Air Max 95 colorways and these clean looks are sure to find nearly as many loving homes.  Click through to get more views and look for yours soon at select retailers including Eastbay.

Brooklyn Projects x Nike SB Dunk High

Sneaker News reported back in February of an upcoming collaboration between Nike Skateboarding and Brooklyn Projects, one in which BP owner and Brooklyn born Dom DeLuca and his noted history in the world of heavy metal shines through in the design. Inspired by Slayer’s classic album Reign In Blood, the colorway, which matches the dark album artwork of one of the greatest thrash albums of all time, features a mix of leather, suede, and denim. It’s reported that just 666 pairs will be released and will drop this June, 2011. Continue reading for a full viewing of the Brooklyn Projects x Nike SB Dunk High as well as a preview video (with the classic songRaining Blood playing in the background) and let us know what you think.

Nike Terminator High Basic White Pine Green

Sneaker News just showed you a new Nike Terminator High Basic featuring the Georgetown Hoyas’ classic palette and it looks like Nike Sportswear is just a Lakers colorup away from a full-on ’80s basketball pack here.  Check out this pair of Terminator Highs in the immortal Boston Celtics combination of white and Pine Green.  These joints feature the same funky heel script and metal D-ring eyelets as the aforementioned pair, a nice twist on the familiar design that’s now available at select Nike Sportswear retailers like TGWO.

adidas ZX Light Textile Pack

The adidas ZX running series is like Nike’s Air Max category, a line of flagship runners whose technology advances have seeped into every corner of the company’s designs.  The latest is a lifestyle-oriented silhouette modeled after those classics with modern style in mind, the adidas ZX Light.  Pictured above is the ZX Lite Textile Pack, a duo of dot-matrix looks that gives the appearance of space age mesh thanks to uppers you might expect to have a Roy Lichtenstein collabo attached.  But while they’re not a pop art piece, these are certainly breath-y and will rank among the lightest and most comfortable lowtops available for the warm weather months.  Click through to see more and stick with Sneaker News for word on the US release.  via HS

Nike SB Dunk High Cheech and Chong

Since a sequel to last year’s Skunk Dunk was first confirmed by Todd Bratrud a few weeks back, we’ve seen a variety of teasers and imagined what the follow-up might look like. While the joint theme seemed logical, at least from the limited sneak peeks that popped up, nobody could have seen this coming. While the majority of the upper sports a white canvas that we all know will give way to green suede underneath, the rear panel sports an unmistakable nod to Cheech and Chong and their stoner classic, Up in Smoke.  It appears that the heel of the left shoe will feature Tommy Chong’s red bandana, while the right shoe uses a material intended to mimic Cheech Marin’s ski cap. Too early to say from these pics, but it looks like possibly denim on the tongue and lining along with your choice of black or green laces. These are expected to release as a quickstrike on April 20th and are rumored to be limited to only around 1000 pairs, so stay tuned for more pics and info in the coming weeks. via N-SB

Air Jordan IX Low Mike Bibby Sacramento Kings Away PE

Mike Bibby has the low-top Jordan game on lock. His penchant for both low-cut and Air Jordan sneakers has allowed him to become one of the more well-known sneakerheads in the NBA, and over the years Sneaker News has offered a look at some of his Player Exclusives, like the Air Jordan VIII Low, Air Jordan XIII Low, and the Air Jordan XIV Low. Here’s a look at another PE colorway – this time of the Air Jordan IX Low; it features an all-black upper with a white outsole with the perfect touch of Sac-Kings purple on the Jumpman on the heel portion of the outsole. His #10 jersey number is also stitched in white on both rear heels as well. This pair has been used considerably, but it still makes a nice add-on to any Air Jordan PE collection, so check out the gallery of images below and hit up the auction from markadim on eBay.

Air Jordan XI Retro Cool Grey 2000 Sample on eBay

Many were excited when the Air Jordan XI was retroed in 2000 and 2001; aside from the OG colorways, Jordanites were looking forward to the release of the ‘Space Jam’ colorway as well as the debut of the ‘Cool Grey’ version. In fact, TLC documented the release of the Cool Grey XI at Niketown Chicago for a TV special called ‘Buy-ology’, which focused on consumer trends. MJ rocked the Cool Greys when he was with the Washington Wizards for a short period of games, and then were lost in the shuffle of new Air Jordan releases as well as other Retros that Michael wore. The re-release in late 2010 was a successful one for Jordan Brand, selling out instantly nationwide. Despite a re-release, the 2001 Retro version still fetches a pretty penny, and a deadstock pair is certainly tough to find, let alone this 2000 Sample version you see here. You already know what the Cool Greys look like, but check out this rare Sample below and hit up the auction by solecollectorau on eBay.
