Nike Air Max 90 Black White Croc

Sometimes there’s more than what meets the eye. Take a look closer at this new Nike Air Max 90 release and you’ll see a pristing faux croc-skin on the mudguard, contrasting perfectly with the smooth flat black leather on the upper. Paired with black mesh on the toe-box and ankle, a tonal-black midsole, and white pop right on the swoosh, Air Max window on the upper, the badge on the heel, and the laces, this new Air Max 90 may appear simple, but possesses enough complexities to warrant yet another pair of Ninetys in your Air Max collection. Peep the extra images below and cop a pair now at Titolo.

NBA Feet: Kicks From Around The League 3/23/11

There was a solid line-up of games last night, which featured a number of new PE colorways and other great sneaker sightings. Dwyane Wade debuted an all-new ‘Away’ Player Exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan 2011, which featured a black upper, red midsole, and yellow outsole. Carmelo Anthony, who recently wore a black/white PE colorway of the Jordan Melo M7, debuted a White ‘Home’ PE that featured an ice sole. Other notables included Ty Lawson’s powder blue and yellow Nike Air Max Fly By PE, Antonio McDyess’ Air Jordan XIII Playoffs, Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Royal’, and Mo Williams in the P.S. version of the LeBron VII. Of course Sneaker News has a ton other covered below, so take a look and let us know who rocked the best sneaks! via ESPN.

Nike Air Force 1 Low White Honeycomb

What happens when a wool snake sheds its skin?  If you’re the detail-oriented type, you might stop and wonder, “Wait a second, there’s no such thing as a wool snake!”  When it comes to the animal kingdom, you’re absolutely right, but there’s no denying this new Nike Air Force 1 Low bears a certain resemblance to the ‘Wool Snake’ AF1 Highs that hit Nike Sportswear retailers last month.  And since ‘real’ snakes don’t shed their scales for seasonal temperature changes anyway (the purpose of shedding is to allow continued growth), it seems somehow bizarrely poetic that in shedding the AF1 High’s ankle strap and collar in favor of a smaller silhouette, we’ve ended up with a metamorphosis more akin to a butterfly, one whose white leather and Honeycomb swoosh is a nice variation on the classic white summer sneaker.  Click through to see more and look for these at select NSW spots like Lousiana’s Politics.

adidas Originals Forum Lo RS Grey White

We’ve seen quite a variety from the adidas Originals Forum Lo RS this spring, everything from insane all-over patterns to simple two-toned looks and a few OT Tech releases in between.  This new Forum Lo fits into the subtler of those categories, its grey suede design adding white accents to become a neutral anchor to any number of clothing combinations.  Add a pair of your own colorful laces or keep em as-is to balance out a bright tee, either way just be sure to cop a can of waterproofer to protect against those April showers and look for ‘em at select Three Stripes retailers like Caliroots.

Supra Royal Collection Spring 2011 Releases

We sometimes refer to Supra as ‘the Crown brand’ in allusion to their logo and the name takes on further regal implications with the announcement of a new premium tier.  The Supra Royal Collection marks the brand’s top of the line releases and today we have five new releases spread across four silhouettes, each with its own take on luxury.  Let’s start with the Supra Skytop II, which comes in the Navajo Pack pattern we previewed a short while back plus another in a super-nappy sand brown suede.  The OG Skytop comes in with a grey waxed twill look while the society and pilot round out the bunch by showing us how radically different two black kicks can look.  Click through to see more shots of the entire set and if you want a pair, you’ll need to dial up Factory 413‘s Los Angeles flagship cos they’re not taking online orders for these babies.

Nike SB Dunk High Hulk | Leather Sample on eBay

Hulk Smash! In March of 2003, Nike SB released the Nike SB Dunk High in Camper Green, Black, and Deep Forest – a colorway nicknamed both the ‘Camper’ and the ‘Hulk’. It featured a full-suede upper, using two tones of green on the upper with a black midsole and swoosh. Here’s a look at an unreleased version of the SB Dunk High ‘Hulk’ that featured leather on the upper; the distressed/pebbled treatment of the leather appears a bit like the Incredible Hulk’s rough skin and bulging muscles, so would these have made a better ‘Hulk’ version? The colorway in this sample is also different from the released version, as the upper and bottom are colored with a brown mustard like tone. Another interesting note on this unreleased sample is the size tag inside the shoe; it’s not like the other sample tags we’ve seen before, but mental_therapy has a great reputation as one of the most renowned sellers on eBay. Check out the detailed images below and check out the auction from mental_therapy on eBay.

Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Dunkman Custom by Conor Burns

SNEAKERNEWS.COM EXCLUSIVE

For the 2011 calendar year, LeBron James’ Dunkman persona will take shape in the Nike LeBron 8 P.S., featuring a lustrous metallic grey and neon green colorway, headed for a May 13th release. Despite the outstanding final product of the LeBron 8 P.S. Dunkman, many of our readers have made known their preference of the V/1 and V/2 over the P.S., thanks to the Dunkman V/1 sample that was previewed on Sneaker News last year and the overwhelming popularity of the V/2. Sometimes, if you can’t get what you want, you just need to take matters into your own hands; just ask Conor Burns aka c4, who transformed the Nike LeBron 8 V/2 ‘Cool Grey’ into his own special Dunkman edition.

Inspired by his love for the Nike Zoom LeBron IV ‘NYC’, which featured the midsole completely covered in graffiti, Conor put his own unique and personal touch onto the midsole of the Cool Grey V/2 with a white base-print and neon green shadowing. He also added a neon green border around the swoosh, painted the prominent lace eyelets and LeBron insignia at the base of the lace placket and heel, and rejuvenated the off-centered toe-cap with a healthy dose of the vibrant color. The smaller swoosh on the medial side is also filled in with the Dunkman neon green. With the Cool Grey V/2 featuring the most subtle touches of neon green on the Lion’s eyes, Conor stated he “had to to this custom” the moment he laid eyes on ‘em. The end result is a gorgeous custom finish that would without a doubt be eaten up if it ever hit store shelves. Continue reading for detailed images and let us know what you think of this custom, and watch out for Conor Burns aka c4 and his future work.

Air Jordan VIII Low Dissected

For sneakers, time can be cruel. Over a set period of use (or even non-use), an Air Jordan shoe can fall from grace and wilt like a leaf at the turn of the fall season, falling apart at the seams as the glue the holds the shoe together dries up into a fine powder, deconstructing the shoe into a pile of loose parts. The owner of this Air Jordan VIII Low accepted the fate of his sneakers, and decided to sacrifice his fallen soldier to shoe us the inner workings of an by not only removing each part piece by piece, but by splitting the shoe length-wise to get a nice cross-section of the shoe. You can see the forefoot and heel Air units through the length-wise cut as well as the removable plate on the bottom sole. Sneaker News has shown you some dissected and dissolved sneakers for some time, but this latest showcase should definitely give you a better inside look into what goes into an Air Jordan shoe, but it’s strange to see these fall apart while Gilbert Arenas wore a pair these not long ago. In any case, Check out the detailed images below and let us know what you think. via Kenlu.
