Stash x Packer Shoes x Reebok Pump Graphlite Release Info

Packer Shoes and Reebok have already teamed up for some of the last year’s hottest collaboration projects, but for their latest endeavor, the two brought along another notable name in the sneaker world who has been no stranger to putting his signature touch on a pair of shoes. With an impressive list of sneaker collabs already under his belt, renowned artist, Stash, now brings his vision and trademark color scheme to the Reebok Pump Graphlite. As you can see, the shoe sports a variety of shades of blue and grey for that classic Stash feel, but there’s more than meets the eye with these kicks thanks to some carefully considered material choices. The Stash x Packer x Reebok Pump Graphlite sports a combination of premium suede and ballistic nylon, with hits of 3M and a Reebok Play Dry membrane treatment to make the shoe water repellent as well. In addition to the materials, added touches come by way of Packer/Stash embroidery on the heels, as well as special insoles and a numbered tag inside each shoe.

The Pump Graphlites will be limited to only 289 pairs – 189 for the street address of the original Packer store in Yonkers, plus 100 to celebrate over a century in the shoe business. The shoe will release during a special in-store event on Thursday, March 31st at Packer Shoes in Teaneck, NJ, in addition to the Packer online store. Check out some detailed pics of the shoe after the jump and stay tuned for specifics on the launch celebration coming soon.

Nike Air Max 95 Bright Mandarin April 2011

Nike Sportswear has employed the Bright Mandarin shade of orange on a number of retro runners this spring, and with two different Air Max 24/7s offering their own grey/white/orange mix, it seems only right to include the immortal Nike Air Max 95 in this discussion.  This upcoming pair of Ninety-Fives offers a slightly modified take on the classic grey-dient including a black mesh layer that converges into the aforementioned shade of orange on the eyelets.  Proof that not all black and orange kicks have to look like a jack-o-lantern, these new Air Max 95s are slated to hit select NSW retailers during the first week of April so click through to see more and stick with Sneaker News for word on the US release.

Chris Brown’s slow but sure return to the spotlight means more Celebrity Feet features for this noted sneakerhead. Brown performed a number of his hit songs on the show while showing off his new Jordan’s – the Air Jordan VII ‘Orion Blue’, complemented by a denim jacket and khakis. Air Jordan P.I.T. High Flyer Black White Royal

They don’t feature interchangeable insoles like the Air Jordan 2011, so you can consider the Jordan P.I.T. High Flyer the ‘Explosive’ answer to the PIT CQ’s ‘Quick’.  The Play in These F are a bit heavier in their construction, which explains why these come off a bit like Jordan Brand’s answer to the adidas Dwight Howard Superbeast, especially with the Magic-away colorup and gradients along the side panels.  But the patent leather and encircled Jumpman make it clear from whom the design emanates and they’re shipping out from select JB retailers like Eastbay as we speak.

These have begun to hit Jordan Brand retailers like BXSports, so check your local spot to see if they’ve them in.

Nike Air Max 1 Daybreak Myth

The Nike Air Max 1 has led the way for Swoosh running since its 1987 debut, most recently setting the pace for Nike Sportswear retro runners in terms of adapting to modern fashion trends.  The AM1 has appeared in a ton of muted, neutral and tonal colorways during the sneaker game’s post-recession ‘maturation’ and while we’re starting to see considerably more in the high-contrast direction, these manage a nice balance between the two extremes.  On paper, their black and purple palette would have you picturing something like the numerous ‘Sacramento Kings’ colorways we’ve seen over the years, but thanks to a burgundy/purple combo plus a light golden shade on the sockliner, the black toe and midsole come off as a more cohesive color range.  Click through to see more of this latest Air Max 1 release and look for them at US NSW retailers soon; Titolo just got theirs.

Nike Zoom KD III Texas Longhorns PE

The timing’s a bit off, but hey, never too late for a sneaker release. Nike Air Max 95 Obsidian White Blue

Nike Sportswear has kept its releases to fewer than the 24/7 hybrid of late, but here’s a new Nike Air Max 95s that’s among the best designs from this classic runner in quite a while.  These joints have a gradient of blue shades along their ‘muscle fibers’ that achieves an exclamation point with white on the top tier and tongue, a detail that manages to help an otherwise dark blue design work quite well as a warm weather shoe.  And if you wanted to crank the temperature up a notch further, yellow or orange replacement laces would be quite the nice finishing touch to set yours apart from the crowd.  Click through to see more of this beauty of an AM95 and grab yours from Britain’s JD Sports.

Air Jordan Phase 23 Hoops White Varsity Red Black

Sneaker News already showed you two colorways of the upcoming Air Jordan Phase 23 Hoops, but let’s take a look at the overall structure of this peculiar Air Jordan shoe. It’s got a forefoot strap, something relatively new to an Air Jordan basketball shoe, and the decorative upper lace harness that should remind you of the funky designs on the Air Jordan VIII. It’s also got a high toe-box like the Nike Air Force 1, and abstract perforations and patent leather on the upper for an added touch of artistry. This new White/Varsity Red-Black colorway brings a classic Bulls aura and Air Jordan shoe always needs. Check out the detailed images below and let us know what you think of the Phase 23 Hoops design. via classicshoe.

Nike SB Dunk Mid Holiday 2011 Preview

Lot’s of changes were on deck for the Nike SB Dunk in 2011; in addition to the return of the fat tongue, the construction of the shoe was altered to be more skate-ready and durable. For the Mid, the most stand-out change is clearly to removal of the strap, but this Holiday 2011 Preview of the Nike SB Dunk Mid shows that maybe the strap isn’t entirely gone. Arriving in the final quarter of 2011 are these three new colorways – one in a rustic brown/green/orange/tan, a second in a classic black/grey, and a third that resembles the Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low sans the elephant print. Again, these preliminary catalog shots show a strap on the black/grey colorway, but we’ll bring you more solid info as it develops over the the next few months. Check out all three below and let us know which colorway you like best. via N-SB.

Nike Lunar Flow Spring/Summer 2011 Colorways | New Images

Prior to the inception of Nike Lunar, runners were limited to earthbound ideas – Air and Zoom. With Lunar, the level of comfort and design ideas are truly out of this world, as Nike opens up a brand new chapter of arguably the most historic performance running legacy in the annals of footwear. With the Lunar Flow, Nike takes a look back at an idea that was truly ahead of its time; the Air Flow, originally from 1988-1989, was a super light-weight runner that provided ample ventilation without compromising the structure of the shoe. Now the Lunar Flow (thanks to the LunarLon cushioned midsole), Nike has capitalized on these marquee ideas, allowing for on the lightest and most comfortable running shoes ever created (Nike has a tendency to outdo itself from time to time). Sneaker News gave you an exclusive look at the Lunar Flow months ago, and now’s your chance to own a pair; the Black/Pink colorway has already hit stores and the White/Green/Blue is soon to follow, so take another look below and let us know what you think. via HB.
