If Tinker decided to carry over patent leather to the Air Jordan XII, you can pretty much expect these (but in a Mid version). All-new for 2011 is the Air Jordan XII Low in this Black/Varsity Red colorway, utilizing patent leather on the mudguard and nubuck on the remaining upper. There’s no doubt a Mid-top version of these would’ve absolutely killed, but the Lows are a nice touch as well, especially with warmer months ahead. These aren’t designed exactly like the originals, as the upper features the minor perforations that we first saw on the Air Jordan XII ‘Rising Sun’ of 2009. These are slated to release soon, but grab them early right now from hot_sella_stop on eBay.

Its clean lines and immortal style make the Nike Blazer a favorite for sneaker customizer JBF and his latest might be the most ambitious yet. His latest creation is the ‘Hypho’ Blazer High SB, a mix of two luxurious suedes unique for both their color combination and the upper’s texture. The upper is done in a sandy brown/grey shade that gives way to turquoise Swooshes and eyelets with black laces matching the sockliner. And normally these accents would be the star of the show with such a neutral base, but you’ll have a hard time taking your eyes off the perforated/basket-woven look on the sandy sections; it’s quite simply unlike anything we’ve ever seen before, custom or ‘stock’. As with all of JBF’s work, you can place an order to have him craft a pair in your size so click through to see more and let us know how these rank against the other custom sneakers we’ve profiled here on Sneaker News.

After years of sneakerheads cherishing the limited runs available and clamoring for more, Nike Sportswear has offered plenty of Air Foamposite One and Pro retro and new colorways in the past several months. Coming up next in terms of foamy NSW releases are two different models with two colorways each, one a retro from 1998 and the other a hybrid from models released a few years prior. We’re talking about the Nike Total Foamposite Max, aka the ‘Tim Duncans’, a beast of a big man’s sneaker that’s remembered as much for being one of the heaviest and sturdiest basketball shoes on record, as much as their OG San Antonio Spurs colorway. That Metallic Silver edition will be joined by a Triple Black pair fittingly set to release on Friday, November 25th (Black Friday). And on the hybrid side of things, check out these two Holiday 2011 colorways of the Nike Zoom Rookie mashup, a sneaker that combines the lines of the Air Go LWP with the Air Flight One’s distinctive pods and a healthy portion of Foamposite construction. Looks like this winter’s gonna be filled with heat so click through for more, let us know what you think of these newly announced releases and stick with Sneaker News for updates. via NT

You gotta keep cool during the hot months and since dousing yourself and your fresh attire in fire hydrant spray simply isn’t an option, summer means two things when it comes to sneakers: white kicks and lowtops. There’s some of each in the latest Jordan Brand retro release, the Air Jordan XII Low ‘Taxi’. These joints represent a chopped off version of the 1996 original, a lowtop model that was first released back in 2004 and is slated for an April 9th official release date. Luckily, Sneaker News has been able to find them a bit early, so you can hail your Taxis right now courtesy of New York’s Extra Butter or grab a pair today on eBay.

After witnessing the grandeur of the ShoeZeum, chances are you were bitten by the vintage-collecting bug. Here at Sneaker News, we’re always on the lookout for some old-school gems, particular Air Jordans and Nike Basketball releases of the late 80′s and early 90′s. This time around, we stumbled upon one of the most unique Nike Running shoes ever made – the Nike Air Huarache Plus that released in 1994. It featured a fierce upper design using a no-lace buckle as the sole stability provider. The sockliner provided a lock-down fit and the perforated toe let some air in – two key-note features in any high-performance runner. This White/Black/Teal/Green colorway you see here features a croc-skin print graphic on the sockliner – as if the Huarache Plus needed help in drawing perplexed stares. Not familiar with the Huarache Plus? Take another look below and grab this affordable piece of vintage heat from rbkhater on eBay.

After having seen a dearth of new colorways over the past several months, the Air Jordan Team ISO returned last week in a the quintessentially ‘summer’ color combo of white and Metallic Silver. But lest we forget this model draws inspiration from the legendary Air Jordan flagship series, here’s one that mashes together the Chicago Bulls’ palette with the tonal grey look that’s been so popular of late. This new Team ISO Low is done in the same colorway as an upcoming Air Jordan III that’s drawn quite a bit of favorable attention, their grey panels done in Stealth and Light Graphite rather than the Cool variety. Click through for a better view of the newest Jordan Team Iso Low and grab yours from select Jordan Brand retailers including FinishLine.

California-based skate clothing and sneakers brand HUF has collaborated with Nike on several occasions, but with Todd Bratrud reprising his role as the designer of this year’s 4/20 Dunk SB, Keith Hufnagel and crew had to look within for a festive theme. And just one look at the HUF Hupper ’420′ gives you all you need to know about this model’s theme, its tonal green design switching from suede on the toe to an all-over printed canvas everywhere else in celebration of Cali’s favorite unofficial holiday. Coming along with the obvious design is a trio of similarly patterned socks, so all you need now is an outfit from Hickey Freeman’s S/S ’09 collection to finish the look. Click through for more, let us know how these compare to the ‘Cheech and Chong’ SB Dunk High and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these April releases. via NSB

It’s not very common to see the NBA’s MVP and Coach of the Year come from the same squad, but that’s exactly what ESPN’s Mark Stein believes should occur with this year’s Chicago Bulls. Coach Tom Thibodeau has gotten the very best out of his players, with Derrick Rose leading Chi-town to the Eastern Conference’s best record despite lengthy absences from key players. It’s safe to say this was the year when Rose made ‘the leap’ into unquestioned elite status, so it’s well deserved to see his adidas adiZero Rose 1.5 released in a greater variety of colorways. Up next is the quintessential ‘summer’ colorway, a white/light grey adiRose 1.5 featuring an icey translucent outsole and breathable SprintSkin construction to keep you cool on the hot days. Click through to get a better look and check for these at select Three Stripes retailers including Eastbay.

The Nike Air Footscape was introduced in the late ’90s but remains among the most futuristic looking sneakers on the market. Fitting, then, to see this asymmetrical cult favorite paired with a motif similar to a style most recently seen on a pair of Future Sole Melo M7 Syracuse PEs. These Air Footscape samples feature alternating orange and white waves on the upper sections that give way to orange on the toe and heel, a look that’s nicely balanced by a maroon sockliner and white midsole. No word yet on whether these will make it to production but if you wanna see more, click on the jump below then grab the US mens size 9 sample from rbkhater on eBay.
