Nike Zoom Kobe 24 New Images

Last September Sneaker News gave you a look at the Nike Zoom Kobe 24, an all-new Nike Kobe signature with a lifestyle focus. The low-cut shoe draws inspiration from a number of silhouettes of the past and present, most notably the revamped Air Force 25, the Air Royal, and the classic Nike Air Force 1. The Zoom Kobe 24 features molded leather uppers with a KB24 logo pressed onto the heel of the shoe. The midsole, which features a bold stitching a la the Air Force 1, features embedded Zoom Air cushioning and a modified outsole traction that would deem it basketball ready. Upper sectionals are also constructed of a snakeskin textured material as well, with three Kobe-specific colorways of White/Concord Purple, a Draft Day-esque White/Black/Orion Blue, and a slithery purple upper with a neon green lining and translucent outsole. A release in the states hasn’t been confirmed (and is unlikely), but check out these new detailed images below and we’ll give you more information as it develops. via Kenlu.

Nike Lunar Flow Photo Blue Voltage Cherry White

When the Nike Lunar Flow hits retailers just a bit later this spring, people are probably going to toss the shoe up and down in their hands in disbelief. These joints are serious contenders for the lightest and most comfy runners on record thanks to a combination of Fuse mesh on the upper and LunarLon soles, so it’s good to see that the Swoosh already has some additional colorways in the works to meet the inevitable demand. This latest Lunar Flow tips its cap to the other golden era runners that released around the time of the OG Air Flow, its white/blue/pink palette bringing to mind classics like the ‘Aquamarine’ Air 180. Click through for more, let us know how these stack up against the other two we’ve seen so far and stick with Sneaker News for word on the US release date. via EspionageKicks

Air Jordan Prime 5 White Varsity Red Black Reflective Silver | Available

There’s no denying the controversy around the Jordan Prime 5, but perhaps it takes a colorway like this one – one that is obviously a lot easier to swallow – to soothe the burning desire to hate on a shoe. The April 2011 releases Air Jordan Prime 5 in the original White/Varsity Red-Black-Metallic Silver colorway undoubtedly brings out the best in the Prime 5 – the oversized 3M-reflective tongue, the clean white upper, the black midsole. The previous releases, which included bold, tonal colorways were a bit over the top for some, so this new release definitely brings it down a notch to more bearable temperature. Watch for these to hit Jordan Brand retailers like Eastbay if they haven’t already, or pick up a pair now on eBay.

Nike Air Max Flight 11 Upcoming PEs

Nike Basketball’s Flight series served as a literal jumping off point for a generation of NBA stars from the late ’80s to early ’90s and has enjoyed revived success with the popular Air Flight Lite retros and its updated 2010 edition paving the way for this all new Nike Air Max Flight ’11.  Sneaker News first showed you this model a few days back and compared it to something like a cross between the Zoom Kobe VI, LeBron 8 and KD III, and those comparisons will continue once you see these upcoming player exclusive colorways.  Russell Westbrook’s ‘Creamsicle’ edition is obvious, but the ‘Entourage’-looking joints actually belong to Golden State’s Stephen Curry, with the Lakers-like edition belonging to a guy whose team colors might change if (when?) Tyreke Evans’ Kings move closer to Kobe by taking residence in Anaheim’s Honda Center.  Click through to see these three plus Brandon Roy’s Trail Blazers look and the classic white/Metallic Silver combo and stick with Sneaker News for updates on their expected release next month at House of Hoops.    via HK-Kicks

Air Jordan Sky High Obsidian Birch

It recently gave way to a paradoxically named lowtop edition but don’t forget about the original hightop version of the Air Jordan Sky High.  This classically styled sneaker takes cues from legendary basketball models like the Nike Blazer and Converse Chuck Taylor, resembles the recent Jordan Phly Legend, but is actually more of an Air Jordan Retro release, having originally dropped back in the late ’80s.  This new Obsidian and Birch colorway is one that could have just as easily been seen back then, its smooth suede and leather construction a mark of timeless quality.  There’s a Smoke brown pair on the way as well for Jordan Brand’s April 2011 collection but you can already grab the Obsidian Sky Highs today from Eastbay or get yours now on eBay.

Nike SB Zoom Eric Koston Light Concord Metallic Gold

The Nike SB Zoom Eric Koston One is set to hit store shelves this June three different palettes and today we have a close-up look at the Lakers-leaning mix of Light Concord suede and Metallic Gold accents.  This was the very first colorway revealed when the world got its initial glimpse at the Zoom Koston One last fall and since then we’ve learned that not only do these feature lightweight Zoom Air cushioning, but their footbed is composed of the space age LunarLon material currently starring on various performance and lifestyle models.  These together with Koston’s specially engineered outsole traction pattern mean these could very well be one of the best skate sneakers ever designed, and they’re sure to be quite comfy whether you’re kick-pushing or just kickin’ it.  Click through to see more and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all Nike SB release dates.  via Kasina

Jordan CMFT Viz Air 13 White Italy Blue Black

Jordan Brand‘s most famous shade of blue named for a longstanding European nation would have to be the French variety on one of 2003′s Air Jordan XII Retros, but here’s a look at another we wouldn’t mind seeing on a variety of models.  The Italy Blue color that makes up the bottom and Air bubble frame on this Jordan CMFT Viz Air 13 makes for a summery addition to the otherwise white upper, a black tongue and sockliner furthering the high-contrast feel.  With these joining along with what might be the highest quality run of white sneakers we’ve seen from a single year, choosing on a pair or three might be difficult, so click through to get a better view of the Italy Blue CMFT Viz Air 13s and stick with Sneaker News for updates as they’re slated to release during the first week of April.

Nike Zoom Kobe VI White Black Del Sol | Available Early on eBay

Kobe Bryant and his Laker teammates have been recently wearing the White/Black-Del Sol-Neutral Grey colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe VI; it featured a grey-on-white snakeskin TPU upper with a black midsole and heel-counter with del-sol yellow accents on the outsole and inner lining. Splash in some varsity purple and you get a quintessential Laker colorway (which would be perfect for their White alternates), but that’s at your discretion (add some purple laces, perhaps?). These aren’t set to arrive until April 2011, but you can get these early by grabbing a pair now from JBseller on eBay.

adidas Originals Superstar II IS Black White Multicolor

Back in the days before broadband, when Eastbay was your average sneakerhead’s best source for info, cheerleading shoes were the closest thing you could get to a custom look.  NIKEiD came around and changed all that, but even if you can design your own 1of1 in any number of different styles on that site and its competitors, there’s still a certain undeniable value in being able to switch up your colors on the fly.  Check out these new adidas Originals Superstar II IS lowtops, a new release that comes with four distinct ‘color cards’ which enable you to go with white, red, yellow or green side panel stripes.  These joints slide into the inner side panels with ease, meaning you can swap ‘em out or go with the equally satisfying translucent Stripes look and perhaps change the laces.  Click through to see more of this new Superstar II and grab yours from select adidas Originals retailers like Caliroots.

Nike Zoom KD III TB White Black | Available

Back in December, Sneaker News gave you a first look at the Nike Zoom KD III in Team Bank colorways suited for everything from rec league all the way up through college hoops.  The color-on-white KDIIIs dropped in their red, green and blue editions earlier this month, leaving us wondering to where the black joints we’d profiled in late ’10 had run off.  The search is over now, as we’re starting to see the white/black Zoom KD III TB hit select Nike Basketball retailers like House of Hoops, their ultra-simple design providing both ‘home’ and ‘away’ looks for ballers in need of a fresh pair.  Click through to see more, let us know how these compare to some of the others we’ve seen and stick with Sneaker News to see what colorways Kevin Durant himself will be wearing in our ongoing NBA Feet feature.

adidas Skateboarding Ronan Black Grey White

Pete Eldridge joined adidas Skateboarding back in 2009 and just like fellow Jersey guy Tim O’Connor, Eldridge’s signature sneakers have become part of Three Stripes’ recurring skate lineup.  The latest adidas Ronan is done in a colorway as simple as the spring 2011 releases from earlier this year, though they come off quite a bit differently thanks to a new blocking pattern that sees grey suede on the toe with black taking over for the rear sections.  White cup sole and gold foil stamped on the lateral side and heel keeps the classic adi-style alive and you can find these at adidas Skate shops around the country including Premier.

Nike Zoom Huarache TR Low Manny Pacquiao PE | Available on eBay

Nike Training reserves its PEs and special editions for the most elite athletes. Manny Pacquiao certainly fits that mold. Here’s another look at the Nike Zoom Huarache TR Low inspired by Manny’s home country of the Philippines, adopting the flag colors infused with Manny’s personal Nike logo. This second look sheds light on a few more detials, like the pristine blue-to-white gradient midsole and the iced-out translucent outsole. A release for this special edition of the Zoom Huarache TR Low has not yet been confirmed, but with Manny’s upcoming match with Mosley, you can bank on Nike coming up with something outstanding to commemorate the bout (as well as something even bigger should PacMan come out on top). There is a size 10 available right now for customers in the Philippines only, so take another look below and check out the auction from biljen18 on eBay.
