The Call of Duty game franchise has taken the U.S. video-gaming market by storm and has branched out of its own genre and spilled over into pop-culture and television. NBA superstar Kobe Bryant made a cameo appearance in a recent commercial for the game, but you can even go back in 2006, when Call of Duty was the recreational activity of choice for the employees of the Stamford branch of Dunder Mifflin, the fictional office-supply company from the hit show The Office. Sneaker customizer Ruben Montes aka MINDxBODYxSOLE started with an Air Jordan 1 base canvas – likely the Velvet Brown/Deep Garnet-Dark Sage release from last September – and painted the upper a tonal brown with minute hints of camouflage print on the upper ankle portion. Add on matching green laces and you’ve got a custom pair of Jordans ready to storm the front! Check out the rest of images after the jump and let us know what you think. via thefreshstock.
