Michael Jordan flew so high of the ground that he could damn near do back-flips in mid-air. This apparent factory error on the Air Jordan VIII ‘Aqua’ from 2007 shows an upside-down Jumpman logo on the left tongue, showing what Michael would look like upside down. These types of errors are somewhat excusable considering the millions of pairs that exit the Nike factories overseas (Nike’s standards for A-grade retail-level quality is actually quite stringent), but this error is actually a collector’s item because we’ve never seen another pair like this! True, the upside-down logo was an accident, but it’s still a rare piece that should fetch a high yet indeterminable amount of dough. Do these rank up top alongside the Air Jordan X and XI ’45’ samples, or even a PE? Check out the images below and hit up the auction from solesupremacysales on eBay.
