The opening games of the 2011 NBA Playoffs began on Saturday afternoon and ended last night with some surprising headlines. The defending champion Los Angeles Lakers gave up home-court advantage to the New Orleans Hornets, while the Orlando Magic and San Antonio Spurs also gave up their higher seedings by dropping the first games at home.
