NBA Feet: 2011 Playoffs Round 1 – Part 1

The opening games of the 2011 NBA Playoffs began on Saturday afternoon and ended last night with some surprising headlines. The defending champion Los Angeles Lakers gave up home-court advantage to the New Orleans Hornets, while the Orlando Magic and San Antonio Spurs also gave up their higher seedings by dropping the first games at home. Ray Allen gave the Boston Celtics a Game 1 victory with a go-ahead 3-pointer with seconds to go, while the OKC Thunder survived their opening match-up behind Kevin Durant’s 41 points. We also got a look at some great sneakers over the weekend, like the debut of the Nike LeBron 8 P.S. and the adidas adiZero Crazy Light.

Dwyane Wade’s Air Jordan 2011 and Carmelo Anthony’s new Knicks-inspired Melo M7 were the keynote Player Exclusive colorways, while Russell Westbrook and Rajon Rondo sported the upcoming Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011.
