Lamarcus Aldridge’s Nike Air Max Hyperdunk 2010 PE has been one of the highlights of NBA Feet for the 2011 Playoffs, but did you know it was designed by a group of youths? Earlier this year, Nike donated a unique opportunity – the chance to design a Lamarcus Aldridge Nike Basketball PE – to the Hoops And Heart Fundraiser. Who won the auction? Charlie Denson, who happens to be the president of Nike. He then donated the design experience to St. Mary’s Home For Boys, where four young men were given the once-in-a-lifetime session to work with Aldridge and Nike designer Kyle Yamaguchi to pick out the Home and Away colorways of the Nike Air Max Hyperdunk 2010 for Aldridge to wear in the Playoffs. The two designs feature the diamond graphic on the upper, with the Home featuring a metallic silver base and the Away using a black base. Check out the video of the entire process here as take a look at some in-game shots of the sneakers after the jump and let us know what you think.
