Where does the Nike Toki stand in Nike footwear history? Besides being one of the best lifestyle shoes to ever have a swoosh, the Toki will be remembered for being the shoes on LeBron James’ feet when he made ‘The Decision’. Infamous attribution or not, the Toki Mid is one of best ever if you’re looking for the grown up look, and this new release featuring a buttery leather in pecan brown and a summit white midsole only adds to the Toki legend. The soft leather upper is paired with a perforated swoosh for that minimalistic and style-conscious appeal, and the rustic brown laces add a nice touch of class. You can find these now at select Nike Sportswear retailers like Extra Butter or on eBay.

Vans’ immortal skate classics have become one of the sneaker defaults for laid-back style; could they one day be held in the same regard as traditional dress shoes? It’s possible, but far more likely is the case we see pictured above where the Vans Era Wingtip brings in elements from the timeless full brogue including the distinctive perforated embellishments and W-shaped toe. This is a case of Off the Wall bringing grown-up style into the casual/skate scene and you can get in on the cross-pollination by grabbing a pair today from Flatspot.

The New Balance M1300 just saw its ‘Made in USA’ original colorway release in Japan, and while this new look isn’t an OG, its American-made quality is apparent from the first glance. The suede and mesh bodies crafted in tonal grey, this new NB1300 adds just a bit of navy blue and white plus a black outsole for one of the most simply satisfying looks we’ve seen all year. They’re not the popular tonal look that everybody seems to be copying these days but they’re every bit as elegant without sacrificing a bit of their timeless quality and this new pair is slated to hit retailers in July. via SF

The Nike Sportswear True Colors ‘White Pack’ features seven different Nike Sportswear silhouettes colored up in an angelic white theme paired with icy translucent soles. Standing above the entire set is the newest colorway of the Air Force 1 High Foamposite featuring a milky smooth white upper and a blue-tinted translucent outsole. Paired with a white canvas ankle strap and a metallic silver lace dubrae, these are very much like a Foamposite-fortified version of the all-white Air Force 1 High that has been a fashion staple for decades. This is the fourth colorway of the AF1 x Foamposite to release – what other colorways would you like to see? If you haven’t copped the all-White Foam Forces yet, check your local Nike Sportswear retailer soon, or grab a pair now from dabombfactory on eBay.

Nike SB’s been all about the controversial topics lately. There was the scrapped release of the Nike SB Dunk High ‘Cheech & Chong’, the apparent ‘Purple Haze’ Dunk High that was scrapped back in ’09, and now the Nike SB Dunk Low inspired by the Sneaker News #1 shoe of 2009 – the Air Jordan XI Space Jam. These new comparison shots make it even clearer that the Space Jam was the obvious muse to this new colorway, and if you’re a fan of both the Jumpman and the Skate wing of Beaverton, OR, these are without a doubt a must-have once they release in May. Are these already in your sights, or will you pass on these in favor of an original colorway? Check out the new side-by-side as well as detailed images of the SB Dunk below and let us know what you think. via Kenlu.

Many Jordanheads will make that case that the ‘Playoffs’ colorway of the Air Jordan XIII is the best ever, and so a return to retail shelves for the first time since their release in 1997 was met with arms wide open. After Jordan Brand brought the Playoffs back, we’ve seen a number of celebrities wearing these beautiful Black, White, and Red sneakers, celebs including Rick Ross, Chris Brown, and Gerald Wallace of the Portland Trailblazers. The latest celebrity to rock these though is Bow Wow, who wore them when he visited BET’s 106 & Park, who might have been outshined by the show’s co-host Terrence J., whowore a pair of Air Jordan VII Premio’s that were released last year. Check out Bow Wow and Terrence J’s sneakers below and let us know who had the better kicks.

And then there were four. The LeBron 8 stretched the limits of a signature by releasing in three different versions – the solid and luxurious LeBron 8 V/1, which features leather and suede constructions, the LeBron 8 V/2, a high-tech version of its predecessor using a Flywire shell upper, and the LeBron 8 P.S., featuring a new Zoom x Max Air cushioning system and HyperFuse material on the upper. Acting as a predecessor to the evolution of the LeBron 8 from Luxury to Sport is the LeBron 8 V4 ‘Milan’, featuring old world crafstmanship and acting as a ‘dress shoe’ version of the Nike LeBron 8. Dubbed the ‘Milan’ by LeBron 8 designer Jason Petrie, this unreleased version of the LeBron 8 was set to emphasize to lifestyle, off-the-court versatility of the LeBron 8, as this tonal black version is solidly built with luxurious black Italian leather with keynote details in the stitch-less and VT leather upper. In the end, Jason Petrie and Nike decided not to release the Milan in an effort to emphasize the LeBron 8 V/1 – V/2 – P.S. storyline, but the Milan proves that Nike has what it takes to create high-performance basketball shoes that can double as high-end dress shoes. Perhaps somewhere down the line we’ll get a Nike LeBron ‘Premio’ line? Continue reading for another look at the LeBron 8 ‘Milan’ and let us know what you think. via NK.

There are a ton of cult hits from the collection of Team Jordan releases of the late 90′s. Shoes like the Jordan Pro Strong and Jumpman Pro were widely popular non-OG hits, but JB also branched out to its NFL representative with the Jordan Super Freak/Cover 3 and Jordan 3 Percent – shoes worn by the exciting Randy Moss. The Air Jordan 3 Percent returns in 2011 with a modified design, namely the addition of the visible Max Air unit on the heel and the tribal-esque engraved graphic on the midsole. The upper and tongue also features a glossy faux-snake skin applique for an added flair on this seemingly performance-driven basketball shoe, and the name ‘Air Jordan 3 Percent Max’ isn’t an official name, but a fitting one the SN staff has given to this John Doe until the official name surfaces. Where does the Jordan 3 Percent rank on your list of all-time favorite non-legacy Jordans? Check out the images below as well as a shot of the original version (for our younger readers who have 0 percent knowledge of the 3 Percent) and let us know what you think. via kicks-lab.
