Collections: This Is Nike Hoarding

The recently featured ShoeZeum is amazing not only for the artifacts it contains, but for the neatness and organization of the thousands of sneakers and props inside the warehouse. Feast your eyes on the polar opposite of the ShoeZeum – a collection of sneakers in which the owner scoffs at neatness and categorizes his sneakers in piles. This is ‘organized clutter’ at its finest, because while it appears that this collection is thrown in piles, we’re certain the man behind this amazing collection remembers where each and ever shoe he owns remains. Air Max, Jordans, Nike Basketball gems, they’re all in there (somewhere), so take a look at the raw amateur video (which admittedly has a crime scene investigation vibe) below and let us know what you think of this sneaker storage method!

Vans Custom Culture 2011 Voting Open

The Vans Custom Culture competition, now in its second year, allows high school art classes to design their own individual custom pair of white Vans with the grand prize being a $50,000 grant towards the school’s art program. After countless submissions from across the nation, Vans had the difficult task of whittling down the crop to 50 selections (10 schools per region), and today, the polls are now open for you to vote for your favorite custom design. From there, the Top 5 finalists will be flown to NYC this June to compete in a final round, judged by industry experts Tony Alva, Mr. Cartoon, and more. Check out last year’s winner after the jump and don’t forget to vote now at the Vans Custom Culture website!

Nike WMNS Toki Canvas Dots Pack

A third of the way through the year and we’ve seen countless lifestyle sneaker designs, but few models have been as consistently on point as the Nike Toki Mid. The Toki just released in a luxurious brown leather, was teased in a trio of nylon getups and now is expanding a look we saw earlier into a trifecta of its own.  These new Toki Canvas colorways for women expand on the recent navy blue pair’s micro-dotted uppers, applying this white-on-color look to red and beige pairs.  Click through to see more of both and stick with Sneaker News for word on the US release dates.  via Dunk

Nike ACG Air Moc Vent Upcoming Colorways

Nike All Conditions Gear is giving the Air Moc a big push this season.  It started with a trio of bold woven leather looks and the quilted ‘Scrap’ should be on the way soon, and now we have an all new revision that’s sure to be a hit for the summer.  Check out the Nike Air Moc Vent, a hybrid model that takes the Air Moc’s climbing shoe-inspired design a step further toward the casual, their uppers now a deconstructed cage design with elastic laces fastened with a toggle at the ‘tongue’.  These first three colorways range from an outdoorsy black/brown/blue/orange to a simple black/white pair and you can see more images of all of em when you click on the jump below.  via ShoesShopMexico

Nike Air PR1 Varsity Red

The Nike Air Pressure made a comeback (sorta) in 2010 with the most exciting of the releases being the House of Hoops exclusive OG-inspired Air PR1. Here’s a look at a new edition of the Nike Air PR1 in a dazzling tonal Varsity Red color-up; utilizing a glossy patent leather on the swoosh and the heel panel, this new PR1 release is certainly not for the faint of heart (or feet), but for those who like to throw in a dash of ‘daring’ in their outfits. The tonal colorway combined with the high-top cut may remind you of some Supra releases of the past, like the Red Leather TK Society that dropped a few years back. Too flashy for the funk? Check out the images below and pick up a pair now from Osneaker.
