We most recently saw the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Mid pop up in a black waterproof getup, but that doesn’t mean the model’s totally protected from the elements. The winds of change have swept through on this white Stefan Janoski Mid, a Quickstrike release that was apparently slated to hit retailers this month as an in-store only release (aka ‘Below the Line’). Earlier this year Sneaker News gave you a teaser preview of the PHANTACi x New Balance MT580 ‘Green Hornet’ that featured a black/neon green/pink upper with a honey-comb detailed upper and sweet lace dubraes associated with the redone classic film. Here we have a teaser look at yet another version of the MT580 ‘Green Hornet’, but this time the shoe features a white-based upper, black laces, and neon green New Balance insignia. The previous version was never released to the public and was instead a friends-and-family edition, so here’s to hoping for a different release for these because we would all love to get our hands on this sweet collaborative project! Will Kid make the team? At first, he avoids the try-outs, claiming to earn his b-ball rep on the streets, but soon comes to realize that he needs to work for his glory. Does Kid make the team? According to Nike, if you’re a ‘Cool Kid’, you get ‘Fresh Air’. Nothing ‘fresher’ than Chlorine Blue on a clean white base on one of the sickest hybrid sneakers we’ve ever seen – the Nike Air Max JR. The Air Max JR takes the Air Griffey Max 1 base and makes some interesting alterations – namely the removal of the ankle strap, the implementation of Nike Torch on the upper for a lighter, more breathable package, and the use of 360-degree Max Air cushioning. The classic Nike Air Structure Triax ’91 was given an extension in height with the Nike Air Hoop Structure back in 2009, but it’s time for the original form to come at us once again. Structure Triax ’91 releases aren’t as frequent as we’d like them to be, but here’s a look at a colorway that may or may not release in the near future. This women’s selection features a mix of Cool Grey, Ink, and Tech Grey, with splashes of a cool aquamarine blue tone on the lace eyelets, AIR STRUCTURE stitching on the tongue, and visible Air unit. Originally slated for a Spring 2011 release – a season that has since passed us, these are either postponed for a later date this year, or gone fishing with the other scrapped samples. Where does the Nike Toki stand in Nike footwear history?
