A mid-series injury to Knicks All-Star F/C Amare Stoudemire all but sealed the deal for the Boston Celtics, but STAT made one last hoorah before he bowed out of the 2010-11 NBA season for good. You might’ve spotted Stoudemire’s brand new Zoom Huarache TR Mid PE during our NBA Feet recap from earlier today – a blazing orange upper in patent leather paired with a white midsole and a translucent blue forefoot outsole. This particular PE features Amare’s AS1 PE logo on the tongue with a unique insole featuring a number of graphics. The Zoom Huarache TR Mid isn’t primarily a basketball shoe, but an all-purpose performance Trainer with apparent adaptivity to the hardwood. Stoudemire wasn’t the only player to rock Huarache TR Mids this season, but his PE’s have shined the brightest, and it looks like there’s a third one of the trio – an ‘Alternate’ featuring a Black upper and Orange/Blue trim around the shoe. Check out additional images of Stoudemire’s new PE as well as some in-game shots and stick with Sneaker News for more updates regarding his kicks! via DJCK.

In late 2010, Nike SB issued a waterproof Dunk High with GoreTex-like material on the all black uppers. It was a curious choice considering skating during a rainstorm is a recipe for broken bones but we’d concede that this weather-resistant material makes more sense on the above pictured model. The Nike SB Zoom Janoski Mid looks more natural in the same slick black stuff as those Dunks, their deck shoe-derived silhouette the type of thing you’d actually expect to brave the elements. But just like those 2010 Dunk High SBs, these will release late in the year as a winter-friendly alternative and you can see more after the jump. via N-SB

Spike Lee came dressed with his Sunday best as he attended the daytime game between the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks. He sported a nice hat in celebration of the Easter holiday, but all the attention was focused on his sneakers – the Air Jordan Spiz’ike in a NY-specific Blue/Orange that he bragged about just a few days ago. Although the Knicks fell to the Celtics and had their season shortened, the game itself was star-studded on courtside, as Spike was joined by comedian/actor Zack Galifianakis, musician/actor Jason Schwartzman, Brian Baumgartner of (Kevin of ‘The Office’), and many more. Check out Spike’s Spiz’ike PEs after the jump and let us know what you think.

When word first broke on the Jordan Brand Tokyo23 initiative including the newly launched website and Air Jordan V Retro T23, the general consensus was that Tokyo23 would represent a JB retail space in Japan’s capital. Perhaps now we have confirmation of a slight change in this expectation, as what’s going on there appears to be something closer to Jordan Brand’s annual Quai54 streetball tournament in Paris. And having just seen a Quai54-edition AJ5, it seems logical that the T23 version would be released for a similar occasion. Further adding to the intrigue is this sample pair as pictured with a 2011 NBA All-Star insole, a detail we’re fairly certain will change for the final release model. Although the Nike SB Dunk High ‘Cheech & Chong’ never released, somewhere in the back of our minds we were all anticipating a few pairs to leak out. To say Nike’s decision to pull Cheech & Chong from the shelves was a bit ‘last minute’ would be an understatement, but it’s happened in the past with another Nike SB – the SB Dunk Low ‘Freddy Krueger’ – and the market value for a pair of those swims above $1,000. Based on reader response, the Todd Bratrud x Nike SB Dunk High ’4/20′ Part II was in the shadows of last year’s Skunks, but the hype that typically accompanies the words ‘unreleased sample’ has proven to be true with these, as the few pairs that have begun to pop up on eBay are priced at numbers that would make the Skunks a relative bargain. Still interested, take another look below and test your auction luck with this available size 12 from peny_skoker on eBay.

Reebok has offered a few different outdoorsy themed packs in recent months, this new set of Reebok Court Victory Pumps cutting straight to the chase by incorporating familiar outerwear garments as its inspiration. The Court Victory Jacket Pack takes Michael Chang’s classic tennis midtop model and applies a yellow raincoat motif to one, deluxe barn jacket looks on another and the leather and patches you’d expect from a bomber jacket on the third. Judging by the earthy average of these three we’d expect them to hit retailers in the later part of the year but be sure to stick with Sneaker News for updates and click on the jump below to see more photos in the meantime. via SF

Take a close look at these, because you likely won’t be seeing them on the NBA Playoff hardwood for too much longer. Though his Philadelphia 76ers were able to squeeze out a game 4 win, the Miami Heat still hold a commanding 3-1 lead and it’ll take three strong performances from Sixers swingman Andre Iguodala if Philly is to have any chance. And whether or not PHL’s latest ‘AI’ can catalyze a huge first round upset, Iguodala’s Nike Zoom Hyperfuse PEs can hold up to the pressure. This home playoff player exclusive colorway is white with a red underlay to match the midsoles plus blue branding including an ‘AI7′ graphic on the lateral ankles.
