Some time between today and him marking out over the fall 2010 lineup last August, Biz Markie and Pro-Keds became more than just friends. And if you look at our post from last year closely, you’ll notice a bit of foreshadowing in the choice of colors he was holding, as today we see Markie’d black and olive green tumbled leather Pro-Keds 69er Lo colorways on tap for this month. Both pairs will come packaged in limited edition slide-out boxes with their own Biz USB keychain, and you can see more shots after the jump detailing both in advance of the pre-sale date which just happens to be tomorrow, Friday, April 22nd at Hanon.

A grey-top version of the LeBron 8 V/2 already released earlier this year, but the V/2 Low version is a decidedly lighter tone adopting Wolf Grey and Metallic Silver for a chromed-out look. These should be an absolutely killer summer shoe (low-tops are naturally attributed to warmer weather), and perhaps LeBron might take a page out of Michael Jordan’s book by rocking low-tops during the Playoffs (MJ wore low-top XIIIs during the ’98 Playoffs). Many of LeBron’s low-top signature shoes adopted completely different constructions, but the V/2 Low is just like it’s taller brother – and almost looks like a Mid itself. We’ve got new images for you to enjoy so take a look, and if you need them now, grab a pair early from kicks-lab or on eBay.

Sneaker News first previewed these two brand-spankin’ new Nike Air Max Penny 1 colorways in early April; the Wolf Grey and Black/Dark Grey colorways served as polar opposites in colorways (like the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Lunar’ series) so it’s a mere matter of preference – light or dark – that’ll assist you in your decision. The Black/Dark Grey-White version is quite similar to the original colorway, but just short of a Varsity Royal splash, while the Wolf Grey version draws resemblance to the Neutral Grey/White colorway that dropped back in 2005. Both are available now at Nikestore so check your local Nike Sportswear retailer soon for a stock and let us know which of the two you like better.

The Air Jordan Melo M7 Advance ‘Welcome To New York’ Pack has coerced the inner Carmelo Anthony fan out of our readers, leading some to call it the best Melo shoe ever created. With three colorways to release exclusively in NYC this June, it can be argued that the Melo M7 Advance and its Knicks-inspired colorways are the most anticipated Melo shoe ever in the entire Jordan Melo signature line. We already gave you a detailed look at the Black/Orange Flash-Blue Ribbon-White colorway, so here’s a look at the remaining two colorways; the Black version (officially Black/Metallic Silver-White) has a quick resemblance to the Air Jordan XI Space Jam for the tonal black upper, white midsole, and translucent outsole, but a closer inspection reveals a carbon-fiber composite material on the upper for a high-tech look to the sleek luxurious appeal. The second Knicks-inspired version (White/Orange Flash-Blue Ribbon) combines the trio of New York Knicks pigments, using a white upper with a blue/orange midsole and upper accents. Again, all three colorways of the Air Jordan Melo M7 Advance will hit select NYC stores (Nike stores, House of Hoops) in limited numbers this June (1,500 in total) at $130, so continue reading for a detailed look at all three colorways and let us know which is your favorite.

Named after the U.S. President’s aircraft, the Nike Air Force 1 has gained legendary status in the sneaker-game as one of the trail-blazers of the cultural phenomenon it is today. Despite the countless colorways that have released, Air Force 1 loyalists continue to create their own using the Nike iD program and the upscale Bespoke Experience, but arriving this Summer 2011 season is one that will be coveted by all. The upper features an all-American denim material with metallic bronze piping and the beloved gum outsole that exemplifies the longevity and relevance of the 18th century fabric in today’s fashion. Completed with a gum outsole, brandished tongue and heel tabs, and precision sewing on the upper, this Nike Air Force 1 Premium manages to stand out distinctly above the rest and should be one of the best AF1 releases of the year. It’s been about three weeks since we last saw any new shots of the Wolf Grey Air Jordan V Retro, and in that short period of time three brand new colorways have been revealed. One is a retro of the OG black/Metallic Silver edition, another opts for the ‘Olympic/USAB’ look and the most recent revelation will be used to launch the Jordan Tokyo23 initiative. And while each of these is quite dope in its own way, none of that trio can match the Wolf Grey edition’s sheer versatility. They represent the ultimate in Air Jordan outfit anchoring abilities, an even subtler look than the ‘Cool Grey’ AJXI that stood alone as 2010′s biggest drop. Their May 14th release date rapidly approaching, the Wolf Greys are poised to be one of the summer’s hottest commodities, and you can see more shots when you click on the jump below. via Sneak-r

The ‘Brown Kelp’ Nike Air Max 1 has been a big hit this spring with its neutral colorway a suitable match to a variety of fits, but let’s not forget about the other model that was released alongside. This ‘Honeycomb’ Air Max 1 has the same material and colorblocking patterns including white on the Swooshes and midsoles, but this pair goes for a Blue Spark outsole to finish off the energetic look. These released around the same time as the Brown Kelp pair but have been difficult to find in many places, so if you’re still lookin’ for a pair, grab yours today from RMK or on eBay.

Michael’s ’96-’97 season was filled with accomplishments, so if this upcoming Black patent leather colorway was in fact an OG (in Mid form), a ‘nickname’ of some sort would definitely be attributed to it. Here’s a new detailed look at the upcoming Air Jordan XII Low in Black/Varsity Red; it features a patent leather mudguard – a definite first for the Air Jordan XII – and perforated upper panels – first on the Air Jordan XII ‘Rising Sun’. Finishing off the colorway is the varsity red Jumpman insignia on the tongue and forefoot outsole and a white TWO 3 detail on the tongue. The Nike Air Maxim 1 has been a bit quiet lately, and since the Nike Air Attack Pack releases of Summer 2010, we haven’t seen much from the retooled AM1 in terms of releases. Here’s a look at two upcoming colorways of the Air Maxim 1; the first features a tonal royal blue upper with a tri-color outsole (grey on the heel, beige on the toe) while the second tonal-black version features a light beige tone as well as a muted purple pigment on the forefoot. One clear change from last year’s version is the redone outsole traction, which no longer features the classic Air Max 1 traction pattern, but a more contemporary design with an enhanced pivot point. Check out the extra images below and stick with Sneaker News for more updates. via Kenlu.
