Michael Jordan came back from retirement wearing the Air Jordan X, but that Air Jordan tenure was short lived as Michael decided on prematurely debuting the Air Jordan XI during the second round of the 1995 NBA Playoffs. The Air Jordan X is still one of the more popular Air Jordan models around, and so the debut of the Jordan CMFT Air Max 10 – a modified Air Jordan X upper with an Air Max 97-inspired bottom end – was very pleasing to those who missed out on the Air Jordan X during the OG release as well as the 2005 Retro. Pulling off two three-peats in a career is nothing short of a phenomenon, and Kobe Bryant is aiming to do just that. Back in 2006, Nike fashioned a sample colorway of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro in this two-toned brown colorway. This version was never released, but a similar colorway was made in Air Total Foamposite Max form (Tim Duncan’s former shoe with Nike). Some notable details regarding this sample is the use of brown, which has never been done on an Air Foamposite shoe, and the substitution of carbon fiber with TPU on the shank plate at the midfoot (also seen in the Carolina Blue/White colorway). The last time we showed you this sample was when it was spotted at a sneaker showcase event in Chicago, but this time they resurface with an opportunity for purchase. Yesterday Sneaker News filled you in a little regarding the release date of the Air Jordan III ‘Stealth’, which is slated for the September 2011 release. Much debate has been circling around this upcoming colorway, and the overall reception has been positive despite the similarities to the Air Jordan III ‘Cool Grey’ that dropped back in 2007. The fact is that any Air Jordan III will be a huge success, and given the black/red accents paired with the slick Stealth/Light Graphite combination of grey, we suspect another big hit for these Jordans. Unfortunately, you will have to wait a few months for these to hit retail, but avoid the lines altogether by grabbing one of the few available pairs from air-randy on eBay.

Supporters and detractors alike have been awaiting the arrival of the Nike Air Yeezy 2, and after a quick glimpse during a cameo appearance in Kobe Bryant’s Black Mamba movie and a better viewing during his performance at Coachella this past weekend, Kanye West has finally let the cat out of the bag for good as he was spotted in London wearing the Nike Air Yeezy 2.
