“Alright, she can stay…so long as she don’t cramp my style.”
What happens when your neighbor/love interest needs a place to say while her place is being fumigated? If you’re Wise, you open your doors and be a gracious neighbor. In Episode 3 of The LeBrons, their neighbor, Gloria, stays over at the LeBrons residence and makes herself at home. Business, Kid, and Athlete don’t seem to like having her around, so how will they get along? Gloria just so happens to be the name of LeBron James’ mother in real life (who slapped her way onto tabloids), so perhaps this is a window to the mother-son relationship while LeBron was growing up. Check out Episode 3 after the jump and let us know what you think.

The return of the Nike Air Trainer SC II High was like a fully-blossomed rose – with ample thorns. While the upper design remained close to the original, critical sneakerheads were quick to point out the disparity in materials, particularly the replacement of the super-tensile strips used on the outrigger and heel with basic ribbon-like material, as well as the non-OG colorways. However, a shoe this beloved won’t disappoint, and this new colorway of White/Dark Grey-Chlorine Blue should ease a few of those pains; the tongue, inner lining, Max Air unit, and forefoot outsole features the dazzling Chlorine Blue with a rugged mix of White and Dark Grey on upper. These just became available at Nikestore so take a look below and let us know what you think.

Missed out on the biggest Air Jordan release of April? The Bordeaux VII sold out rather quickly compared to its Retro VII predecessors (the Orion Blue joints are still sitting patiently on shelves) and while they still may be available in stores, the selection of sizes is dwindling by the day. If you decided on skipping out on these, chances are you’ll be slapping yourself on the forehead, muttering to yourself, “Why did I pass on these?”. Don’t make that mistake again because Sneaker News would like to report a healthy re-stock of the Air Jordan VII ‘Bordeaux’ over at Finishline. Quantities are unknown and are likely to be limited, so head over there fast to get your pair, or try to score a pair on eBay.

Could a relatively new colorway turn out to be one of the most popular Air Jordan III Retros of 2011? It seems unlikely given that this year will go into the books with both ‘White Cement’ and ‘Black Cement’ releases, but the general consensus from comments here on Sneaker News is that the ‘Stealth’ AJ3 is one of the better non-OG colorways to come out in quite some time. While immediate comparisons to the Cool Grey Air Jordan III from 2007 will come to mind, this new version offers a distinctly darker look with a range of grey tones that give the familiar look a fresh feel that might even be able to perform the magic of having kids happy to head back to school to show em off when these drop in September. Click through to get a better view, and if you wanna lock yours up nearly six months early, check out the limited size run currently available at Kicks-Crew.

Watching Derrick Rose this year has been something like Kevin Durant last season: a bonafide elite superstar coming into his own with an MVP-caliber campaign. D-Rose led his young Chicago Bulls to another victory in round one last night and Chi-town fans are hoping they have what it takes to join the city’s all time favorite squads. Teams like the 1985 Bears instantly come to mind when you discuss Chi-town’s finest, so it’s fitting to see their uniform colors applied to this new adidas adiZero Rose 1.5. The latest adiRose 1.5 colorway features a glossy navy blue overlay with matching SprintSkin top layer, an orange layer peeking through to match the heel stripe that separates that ‘side’ of the shoe from the white counter and sole. Click through to have a better look and expect these at select Stateside retailers soon; Filipino sneaker Titan 22 boutique got theirs. Via SoleMovement

The tonal-black motif has been a Nike LeBron staple since the Zoom LeBron IV and for the LeBron 8, we already saw it drop in V/1 form, which featured a leather upper. Here’s another look at the LeBron 8 V/2 Low version of the ‘Blackout’; as Sneaker News pointed out the last time we previewed this upcoming shoe, the Blackout V/2 Low features minor accents of a Dark Charcoal pigment, seen around the swoosh border, Max Air unit, and the figure-8 lace eyelets. These are slated to release in the coming months, and we’ll say these are one of the few all-black shoes fitting for the hot months. Check out the new gallery below and let us know what you think. via in52.

Regular Sneaker News readers may have seen our latest NBA Feet feature and wondered why, although his Air Jordan 2011 PEs were quite impressive during Saturday’s game, why wasn’t Dwyane Wade rocking his new Jordan Brand signature? Luckily, we didn’t have to wait long to see the Air Jordan Fly Wade debut on the NBA Playoff hardwood, as Miami’s shooting guard broke out a never-before-seen colorway during the Heat’s game 2 victory over Philly. These featured a similar colorblocking scheme to the aforementioned AJ2011s, a mostly white look with red accents, and these new Fly Wades added a bit of yellow peeking out from the sockliner to finish off the ‘home’ look. Click through to see some in-game shots and stick with Sneaker News for the latest on 2011 NBA Playoff sneakers.

A variety of adidas Basketball athletes debuted the new adidas adiZero Crazy Light when NBA Playoff action began this weekend, none more successful than Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose, whose 39 points guided the East’s number one seed to a comeback victory at home. Coming in at a practically weightless 9.8 oz, the Crazy Light relies on the super-thin SPRINTWEB upper to keep your foot securely fastened onto a Torsion System suspended, Bounce-cushioned sole. Despite the vast amount of Air Jordan colorways to have released, there still exists a large number of ‘dream’ colorways that we can only imagine (until Jordan Brand runs out of ideas). An imagination is a powerful thing, and combined with a slick Photoshop touch, you can create some interesting renditions of classic Air Jordans in some never-before seen color-combinations. Niketalk member Jayzrdead put his mind to the computer screen by creating some interesting colorways that he’d like to see on Air Jordans, and some of these themes may look familiar to you. Not only does he transfer classic AJ editions like the ‘Bordeaux‘, ‘True Blue‘, and ‘Cool Grey‘ onto different shoe, he brings in some outside themes, like last year’s phenomenal ‘South Beach‘ motif and the trio of Air Yeezy colorways. Check ‘em out below and vote for your favorite colorway of each photoshopped Air Jordan to let us know which versions you’d most like to see become a reality!
