Air Jordan V Retro White Midnight Navy Varsity Red Detailed Photos

Michael Jordan won two Olympic gold medals as a member of USA Basketball, but because of the timing, only one Air Jordan Legacy model appeared on his feet en route to victory.  The ‘Olympic’ Air Jordan VII is a legendary release, its colorway sufficiently popular and timeless enough that it was revived for Ray Allen on the AJVI for the 2000 Summer Games in Sydney.  So the above pictured Air Jordan V Retro has quite a lot to live up to with its white, Midnight Navy and Varsity Red colorway, but this patriotic patent leather getup is sure to be a hit for the summer months.  Click through to see some more images and if you wanna grab a pair early, check out Sneaker Ape who have a free shipping deal available for every single pair in their store.

Nike Zoom KD III iD Year of the Rabbit

Not long ago Sneaker News gave you look at a sweet pair of the Nike Zoom KD III iD inspired by the ‘Entourage’ colorway of the LeBron 8 V/2. Here’s a look at yet another KD III iD creation inspired by another hot release of 2011 – the Nike Air Force 1 Low Supreme ‘Year of the Rabbit’. One of the standout features of the ‘Year of the Rabbit’ AF1 is the mis-matched swoosh color-blocking on the lateral and medial sides of the shoe, so achieving the similar motif was a bit tricky. The solution? Make two different pairs of iDs and switch ‘em up when the arrive! As you can see, both pairs feature a sweet red-blue gradient on the upper, but in reverse fashion thanks to a simple switcheroo. The end result? A dope colorway of the Zoom KD III and TWO pairs to rock (rabbits are known to produce in multiples). Check out the detailed images below and let us know what you think of the idea. via hoopchina.

Air Jordan V + CP3.IV T23 Nike Harajuku Release Info

One of the biggest Asia-exclusive Air Jordan releases in recent memory is the Air Jordan V Tokyo23, a special edition of the Air Jordan V commemorating the debut of Jordan Tokyo23. The apparent limited nature of both the Air Jordan V and the Jordan CP3.IV ‘T23′ has been discussed by our readers, and this new release info at Nike Harajuku may shed some more light on the true availability of both shoes. Nike Harajuku will hold an in-store raffle for the the shoes this upcoming weekend, beginning on Friday, April 29th, through Sunday, May 1st, with a limit of one raffle per customer. Anytime there’s a raffle/lottery involved, you’d best believe the numbers are limited! In the meantime, check out these new images below and let us know how much you’d pay for either one of these upcoming limited releases.

Nike SB Blazer CS Grey Blue Red

You don’t see alternate-colored swooshes on a Nike shoe that often. This year’s Nike Air Force 1 Low Supreme ‘Year of the Rabbit’ was one of the more recent ones, a shoe that is certain to be a Top 30 selection for the year. Here’s a look at a new colorway of the Nike SB Blazer CS in a grey suede upper; seems fairly plain and simple at first, but notice that this pair features two different-colored swooshes, just like the Year of the Rabbit Air Force , with red placed on the lateral side and blue on the medial. Is this two-toned swoosh idea a trend that’s worth picking up? Check out the images below and watch for these at your local SB retailer like Shelta, and let us know what other shoes you’d like to see two different swooshes on.

Nike Teams Up With St. Marys Home For Boys to Design Lamarcus Aldridge Playoff PE

Lamarcus Aldridge’s Nike Air Max Hyperdunk 2010 PE has been one of the highlights of NBA Feet for the 2011 Playoffs, but did you know it was designed by a group of youths? Earlier this year, Nike donated a unique opportunity – the chance to design a Lamarcus Aldridge Nike Basketball PE – to the Hoops And Heart Fundraiser. Who won the auction? Charlie Denson, who happens to be the president of Nike. He then donated the design experience to St. Mary’s Home For Boys, where four young men were given the once-in-a-lifetime session to work with Aldridge and Nike designer Kyle Yamaguchi to pick out the Home and Away colorways of the Nike Air Max Hyperdunk 2010 for Aldridge to wear in the Playoffs. The two designs feature the diamond graphic on the upper, with the Home featuring a metallic silver base and the Away using a black base. Check out the video of the entire process here as take a look at some in-game shots of the sneakers after the jump and let us know what you think.

Nike Sky Force 88 Bulls vs. Knicks Pack

It would’ve been quite a series if the New York Knicks and Chicago Bulls met in the Eastern Conference Finals (seeding would’ve allowed them to cross paths at that juncture). Derrick Rose is playing at a god-like level, but remember the Knicks were one of the few NBA teams that gave the Bulls a bit of heat, winning two of the three match-ups. Although it’s taken a backseat over the last decade, the Bulls vs. Knicks rivalry was one of the game’s best, and it could very well be rekindled now that stars have aligned in the Windy City and the Big Apple, so here’s a nice little reminder in throwback form – the Nike Sky Force ’88 Bulls vs. Knicks Pack, featuring the Sky Force Mid in a Knicks Blue/Orange and Sky Force Low in Bulls White/Black/Red. These are slated for a release later in the summer so take a look below and let us know what you think. via HS.

Jordan Fly Wade Black Varsity Red | Detailed ImagesMay 5th marks a big moment in Dwyane Wade’s career.  It’s two Saturdays from now that Agent D3 sees his first Jordan Brand signature, the Air Jordan Fly Wade, debut in two different colorways.  One is the white/grey/black/Pimento edition that you could consider as the ‘home’ answer to this black and Varsity Red edition’s ‘away’.  These joints have that fierce look that mirrors the intensity needed to capture an NBA championship and as JB’s lightest performance basketball model ever, you know Flash will be fresh on his feet should the Heat’s season extend into June.  Click through to see more of the bred Fly Wades and if you wanna lock up a pair early, look on eBay.  via US10

Nike Air Max 24/7 Team Orange + Bright Kiwi

The Nike Air Max 24/7 has proven itself well adept at handling classic colorways from its constituent Air Max 95 and AM97 models but here are two new editions that are distinctly 24-7.  That’s thanks to the high-contrast colorblocking on these pairs that features stratified layers of light and dark giving way to vibrant accent shades.  Click through to see more images of black/Bright Kiwi and Dark Grey/Team Orange combos and let us know which one’s your favorite.  Select Nike Sportswear retailers like Kix-Files have just gotten theirs so we expect them at US retailers shortly.

Nike Air Max 95 Blue Spark | U.S. Release Info

Recently Nike Sportswear released the Nike Air Max 95 in the original Black/Grey gradient paired with Bright Mandarin, which was somewhat surprising considering the Team Orange released in 2009. NSW’s closing the gap with the released of the ‘Blue Spark‘ because the Photo Blues dropped not even a year ago, but the minor difference in hue should be enough for you to get on board. These have been spotted already at Euro retailers like end, but the good news is that these will indeed hit the states this June, so check out the images below and let us know if these are a must-have for you, particularly if you missed out on the Photo Blue release last year.

Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Mid QS White Black | Available

All this recent Janoski-related news may have you a bit confused, especially with yesterday’s report of a possible release delay of this new White/Black Mid Quickstrike release. This Mid version is an awesome follow-up to last year’s White Perforated leather Janoskis – arguably the best summer shoe to have been released by Nike SB last season. Luckily for us, news of the release delay may have been slightly premature, because Premier, one of the ‘premiere’ footwear and Nike SB retailers on this side of the hemisphere, just got them in as an in-store only purchase (that’s just the nature of Nike SB’s ‘Below the Line’ releases). We’ve got extra detailed images for you below so stay alert and check your local Nike SB purveyor for a fresh stock of these made-for-summer sneaks!
