The 2011 French Open is gearing up for a launch on May 22nd at the legendary Roland Garros Stadium, and you already know Nike’s best tennis athletes will be clad with the latest in performance technology. Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Maria Sharapova, and Serena Williams all look for clay-court glory and they’ll certainly look the part of winners with the 2011 kits by Nike. Nadal, the defending singles champion, will be wearing the Nike Air Max Courtballistec 3.3 while Federer will wear the Nike Lunar Vapor Tour 8. On the women’s side, Maria Sharapova will ride the Nike Lunarlon Speed 3 while Serena Williams, the reigning doubles champion, will wear the Nike Air Max Mirabella 3. im not crazy about tennis shoes in general, but i liked last years roger federer shoes better than these, they were a lot less hectic

Nadal is a beast! Too bad his shoes are way too tech and overbuild. I will never wear them (not even for tennis!)
