Supra built its brand on the back of the Skytop, a modern classic that ranks near the top of the list of the last decade’s most influential designs. It’s super-high cut set off a race to the top with higher and higher cuts and eventually the monstrously tall Skytop II. But for the Supra Skytop III, the crown brand goes in a completely different direction. This is a complete midtop here, but the high-pitched ankle helps to bring together the anachronistic design. If the first Skytop was a trendsetter and a total original, the Skytop III is great for its mastery of the simulacra; a design so perfect that it almost appears to hint at a hundred classics and yet maintains a fresh appeal that’s vital and current. I see a lil Air Jordan 5, 6, 7, a lil Nike Air Presto, and a lil Supra Stacks. Skytop I was classic, Skytop II was hella ugly, Skytop III looks like a basketball shoe.

I don't like them. They really had something going with the Skytop II but they killed that shoe with horrible colorways, just like they did to the TK. Step it up Supra.

How can you honestly cop Supra's?? They knockoff the Dunk/Jordan 1 for their Skytop, now they're knocking off the Nike Air Presto, -Down to the tonal color ways with the white midsole!

hmm' ive got to be honest. Dam these are some sexy kicks! I love the suede finish that contradicts or contrasts the white rubber sole. Way more toned down, but i dont know…do i still prefer skytop I and II..i think so.

And sure enough, the new "Sky" Tops are actually a mid-cut shoe…….. Supra, always conforming to the sales trends.
That being said, this is by far and away the best looking shoe Supra has put out in their existence IMO. The midsole is absolutely awesome and the plastic shit on the side looks cool and surprisingly original. And that open toe makes these look like a viable skate shoe. Well done.

There are parts of the shoes that reminds me of the jordan 5 and there are parts that reminds me of the yeezy 2. And the the tab on the back? Jordan 6? Crazy turnaround from the I &I I.
I think they might as well change the name of the shoes too because it's basically a new shoe.

They have another model that resembles the Air Jordan IV. Its a shame. Plus the Skytop II jacked the pulltabs.

The midsole reminds me of the McFly's from back to the future 2 it would be sick if they released a pair in the same color grey that was used on the mcfly's

Okay. IMO- The skytop I wasn't so hot for skaing in. Neither was the II. Ang here comes the III, ready to shred. Or at least, this one has that feel to me

not really a fan of the skytop 3s. they shouldve been higher to keep in the tradition of the skytops. i still think the 1s are the best of the 3
