Despite making an early exit from the 2011 Playoffs, there’s no doubt that Amare Stoudemire re-invigorated the city of New York with his MVP-level of play throughout the season. Another notable STAT sub-story was regarding his sneakers – the Zoom Huarache TR Mid PE to be precise. Here’s another notable pair of kicks on Amare’s feet – the Air Jordan XI ‘Cool Grey’, recently spotted on the Eastern Conference All-Star starter while he was strolling around New York City. Apparently he’s taken a quick allegiance to the New York Yankees upon his arrival to the Big Apple based on his zip-up hoodie. probably because he's a celebrity? and they always throw on a hood w/sunglasses or hat w/sunglasses to be incognito(in disguise if you don't understand that word) which is easy to do for a 5 foot nothing actor like Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt, but is impossible if your 6 '10" 240lbs like Amare. So i guess that is why i thought he is (as you would say) "trynna" hide. F*@KBOY.
