“Saucony gave me a chance to do this collabo and I’m really happy about how it turned out.”
That’s how Phillip from 8 Amsterdam describes his boutique’s just released collaboration with Saucony. The 8 x Saucony Shadow 6000 is done in a mix of denim, suede and mesh because Phillip wanted its design to be ‘functional’ while matching his home city’s Chicago-style palette. Dutch buildings are ‘hand-‘ drawn on the package that also features the same bold ‘INVICTUS’ script on this pair’s tongue, an homage to the designer’s signature tattoo. The aggressive final product is quite a bit different than what we’ve seen from the Boston brand’s Elite collection, so how do they rank in your mind?
