Jordan Brand typically re-releases its legacy models in droves. In 2007, we saw seven different colorways of the Air Jordan III (one OG, the rest brand new), and 2011 will have seen five (six if you count the Doernbecher Air Jordan III of the Holiday 2010 season and seven if the next Bin 23 release is in fact the rumored AJ3). Here’s a look at an unreleased Air Jordan III colorway that was set for a release during the Holiday 2008 season; it features a full black leather upper and midsole with the trademark cement grey elephant print on the toe and heel. Think of it as a leather version of the Black Cat, but with a white Jumpman Air logo on the heel and the aforementioned elephant print. Would you have liked to see these release?
